Tegan Nox vs. Dakota Kai
They approach each other in the ring, and Nox forearms away at her. Kai pushes her back and punches, but Nox takes her down and punches. Nox blocks a shot into the cage wall and traps Kai’s arms before taking her down. Kai avoids the Shiniest Wizard and tries to send Nox into the cage wall, but Nox blocks it. Nox takes her down and goes to the second rope for a diving cross-body block. Nox punches and covers for a two count. Nox avalanches her in the corner and hits a snapmare. Nox attacks again for a two count.
Kai quickly fights back and clubs her down before applying an arm bar. Kai then chokes her with her boot in the corner. Kai stomps her in the corner, and Raquel Gonzalez claps on at ringside. Kai then digs her knee into Nox’s face. Kai puts her in the corner for a two count. Kai chokes her with the boot again. Nox quickly comes back and avalanches her in the corner for a two count. Nox backs up and hits a trio of running back elbows. Nox then hits a cannon-boar in the corner. Kai quickly comes back by sending Nox into the cage wall.
We come back from the break to see Nox send Kai hard into the cage wall three times. An “NXT” chant fires up while Nox stomps and mashes Kai’s face into the cage. A “You deserve it” chant picks up. Nox hits a snapmare and covers for a two count. Nox hits a fallaway slam with a bridge for a two count. Nox heads toward the cage door, but Raquel Gonzalez stands in the way. Kai hits Nox with the Scorpion Kick followed by the Kai-Ropractor for a near fall.
Nox grabs Kai’s knee brace and catches her with a small package for a two count. Kai then head-butts her, and they’re both down. Nox starts to climb the cage wall. Nox puts a leg over the top when Kai scales the wall and pulls her down. They’re standing on the top rope, and Nox gives her a chokeslam to the mat! Nox looks stunned by what she’s done. Gonzalez is in shock. Kai soon comes back with some kicks to the head. Kai hits the ropes, but Nox follows her in. Kai comes back with a big boot, and Nox soon hits a cannon-boar for a near fall. Nox looks stunned. Nox goes to the top of the cage and puts a leg over. Raquel Gonzalez is on the floor and daring her to come down. Nox then stands on top of the cage and crushes Kai with a perfect diving cross-body block! Nox crawls toward the cage door, but Gonzalez holds it shut. Nox moves before Kai can kick her, and Kai accidentally kicks the cage wall into Gonzalez’ face! Nox follows up with the Shiniest Wizard on Kai for a near fall!
Nox tries to crawl toward the cage door, but Gonzalez tries to enter. Gonzalez grabs Nox, but Nox kicks her in the face. Nox climbs the cage wall and puts a leg over. Kai climbs and tries to pull Nox down, but Nox kicks her off to the mat. Nox tries to climb over, so Gonzalez grabs Kai and starts to pull her out. Nox kicks the cage door shut, but Gonzalez soon pins Nox to the cage wall with the door! Kai escapes!

Shotzi Blackheart vs. Chelsea Green
Robert Stone says Chelsea Green is the face of the women’s division.
This is a qualifying match for the Women’s Ladder Match at NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay. The winner will face the NXT Women’s Champion.
The bell rings, and Green quickly applies a waistlock. Blackheart whips her off and takes her down, but Green kicks her away. Blackheart takes her down, talks trash, and hits a double leg to the midsection. Blackheart hits the ropes, but Green hits an arm drag. Blackheart hits an arm drag before wiping her out with a step-up enzuigiri. Blackheart goes for a splash against the ropes, but Green moves. Green hits a backstabber for a two count. Green takes Blackheart down for another two count. Blackheart fights out and punches Green back. Blackheart puts Green on the top rope, but Green kicks her back. Green hits a missile dropkick that sends Blackheart to the apron. Green pulls her into the ring and hits the I’m Prettier for the win.

Chelsea Green is the first woman to qualify for the #1 Contender’s Ladder Match at NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay.
In-Ring: Keith Lee, Cameron Grimes
NXT North American Champion Keith Lee makes his way to the ring. The crowd sings to him, and Lee just soaks it all in. Lee say, “Greetings and salutations, you are now conversing with The Limitless One, Keith Lee.” Ever since he’s become NXT North American Champion, many men have invoked his name. Men like Dominik Dijakovic that want to fight forever and men that want to live forever like Damian Priest.
Cameron Grimes’ music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Grimes says Lee doesn’t need to be talking about Priest or Dijakovic. Lee needs to be talking about Cameron Grimes. Did Lee see when he Caved In Dijakovic last week? The crowd chants, “No one likes you.” Grimes says he likes himself. The crowd loudly boos him down. Lee says Grimes has made the gravest mistake of his career. Grimes says it took Lee 20 minutes to beat Dijakovic. The crowd is loudly booing Grimes. Lee is laughing. Lee says he wants to hear what Grimes has to say. Grimes says some would even say that the match at TakeOver was a 5 star match, but next week William Regal gave him an opportunity to wrestle Lee for the North American Championship. Lee shoves him out of the ring! Lee says Grimes will get an equal opportunity ass whooping next week. Grimes is furious.
Earlier Today: Austin Theory, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
Footage is shown from a video recorded earlier today. Austin Theory says he’s one of the greatest in NXT history at only 22 years old. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott cuts him off and is laughing. Scott says Theory has confidence, so how about they face each other tonight in Swerve’s house? Theory tells him to ask Regal about it.

Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish are warming up. NXT Champion Adam Cole and Roderick Strong are watching. Cole says Fish and O’Reilly will teach Lorcan and Burch a lesson. Strong will also take out Velveteen Dream.
Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish vs. Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan
Fish starts against Lorcan. They trade strikes before Fish attacks Burch. Lorcan attacks O’Reilly for good measure. All four men get in the ring and face off. Fish clubs Burch, so Lorcan kicks him. Lorcan tries to fight Fish and O’Reilly off. Burch comes back, and they clear Undisputed ERA from the ring. Lorcan jumps off the steel steps with a double blockbuster on Fish and O’Reilly!
We come back from the break to see Fish slapping away at Lorcan, who is getting fired up. Lorcan angrily fights back, but Fish knees him in the midsection. Fish hits a snapmare and goes to the apron. Fish goes for a slingshot senton, but Lorcan gets the knees up. O’Reilly tags in and stops Lorcan from making a tag. Lorcan eventually does make the tag.
Burch runs in and hits O’Reilly with some uppercuts and a cutter. Burch approaches O’Reilly, but O’Reilly pulls him out of the ring. Fish tries to attack, but Burch knocks him back. O’Reilly gets kicked back, but Burch is soon taken down. Fish tags in and attacks Burch before tagging O’Reilly back in. O’Reilly drops a knee for a one count. O’Reilly quickly knees and kicks Burch back. Fish comes in and viciously takes Burch down. O’Reilly takes Burch down and peppers him with strikes. Fish tags in and kicks Burch in the midsection. Fish takes him down and applies a rear chin lock with a body scissor. Burch fights out, so O’Reilly tags in and stops him from making a tag. O’Reilly hits a back suplex and tags Fish in. Burch quickly takes Fish down. O’Reilly tags in and catches Burch before he makes a tag. Burch eventually makes the tag.
Lorcan chops away at O’Reilly before hitting a running uppercut. Lorcan chops Fish back before hitting a half and half suplex on O’Reilly. Lorcan takes Fish out and connects with a blockbuster on O’Reilly. Lorcan then annihilates Fish and O’Reilly with a wild summersault plancha. Lorcan puts O’Reilly in the ring and gets the crowd fired up. Lorcan hits some running back elbows before the Undisputed ERA hits him with the High/Low out of nowhere for the win!

In-Ring: O’Reilly & Fish, the Broserweights, Grizzled Young Veterans
Kyle O’Reilly says he loves to win and it feels good. It’s good to get back to their winning ways. Where are their NXT Tag Team Championships? Bobby Fish says those titles are with an undeserving tag team in the “LoserWeights.” Adam Cole is taking care of business. Tonight, Roddy Strong will shut the mouth of the Dream.
The BroserWeights make their way to the stage. Matt Riddle says he’s down for a rematch, as is Stallion Pete. All the stallions in the NXT Universe want to see it. Riddle says he’s also sure the most majestic stallion of them all, Stallion Regal…
…The Grizzled Young Veterans attack Riddle and Dunne from behind! They throw them into the barricades. The Grizzled Young Veterans call the Undisputed ERA “dweebs.” They’re not waiting for Regal to chime in. As far as the NXT Tag Team Titles are concerned, it’s out with the old and in with the Grizzled Young Veterans. They’ll soon be recognized as the world’s number one.
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Austin Theory
They lock up, and Theory gets a waistlock. Scott hooks a side headlock and cinches it in. Theory slides out and applies a side headlock of his own. Scott whips him off, but Theory shoulder blocks him down before taunting him. Scott quickly wrenches the arm, but Theory kicks him and sends him to the corner. Scott blocks a back elbow and rolls him down. Scott then hits a head-scissor takeover. Scott takes him down and dropkicks him. Theory charges him, but Scott sends him to the corner. Theory clubs him in the back, but Scott hits a jumping back kick to the face.
We come back from the break to see Scott chop Theory back. During the commercial break, Theory hit Scott with a gutwrench suplex. Theory hits Scott with a Rolling Thunder Dropkick for a two count. Theory shoves Scott a few times before chopping the chest. Theory kicks Scott, but Scott fights back. Scott absolutely jacks Theory’s jaw with a punch before clotheslining him down. Scott takes him down and hits an uppercut to the back of the neck off the second rope. Scott kicks away at Theory’s arms and chest before hitting a rolling flatliner for a near fall.
Theory fights out of a slam from Scott and sweeps the feet. Scott quickly kicks him back and goes for a hurricanrana, but Theory holds him up. Theory pulls him up and hits a Buckle Bomb. Theory follows up with the RP1 (fisherman’s ushigoroshi) for a near fall. Scott gets out of Ataxia and punches him to the apron. Theory punches Scott back and tries for a Rolling Thunder Dropkick, but Scott counters into a cross arm breaker. Theory powers him up with one arm, but Scott takes him down and snaps the arm! Scott grabs him on the apron, but Theory rakes the eyes and knocks him down. Theory follows up with a one-armed ATL (Austin Theory Launch) for the win.

Interview: Johnny Gargano
A taped interview from earlier in the day is shown with Johnny Gargano and Mauro Ranallo at the WWE Performance Center. Ranallo says everyone wants to know why he attacked Tommaso Ciampa. Gargano says he was the only one that attended the red carpet premiere of Ranallo’s documentary. Ranallo says that meant more than Gargano could know. Gargano wonders if being the heart and soul of NXT is all he is.
Ranallo asks about the sneak attacks. Gargano says he looked the man in the eye at TakeOver: Portland and saw what he needed to see. Gargano did what he needed to do. As for last week, he was wearing a powder blue sport coat. Ranallo mentions all Gargano and Ciampa have been through. Gargano says he has no idea what they’ve been through. Gargano is getting more and more furious. Ranallo simply asks, “Why?” Gargano gets in Ranallo’s face and says, “You know why!” Ranallo says he doesn’t want any trouble. If Ranallo admits that, he admits that he’s a liar. Ranallo says he isn’t a liar. Gargano says Ranallo didn’t call or talk to him after TakeOver: Portland, yet Ranallo called him “Johnny Turncoat.” Ranallo says it was the heat of the moment. Gargano gets in Ranallo’s face. Ranallo says he’s uncomfortable and walks off. Gargano shouts at him as he leaves.
Gargano says next week at the Performance Center, they’ll do things his way. Tommaso Ciampa is not the puppet master.

Velveteen Dream vs. Roderick Strong
The bell rings, and Strong immediately goes after Dream. They brawl, and Strong chops him in the corner. Dream fights back and tries to send him into the cage wall, but Strong stops it. Strong takes him down and throws him into the cage wall, but Dream grabs and scales the wall. Strong quickly grabs the ankle, but Dream kicks him back. Dream then hits a double axe handle.
Dream punches Strong down in the corner before sending him into the corner. There are dueling chants happening. Dream scoops Strong up, but Strong gets out. Strong forearms Dream back, but Dream kicks him back. Dream charges, but Strong sidesteps him to send him into the cage wall. Strong punches away at Dream before pulling on the hair. Strong viciously chops the chest, so Dream punches back. Strong takes him down and hits a back suplex. Strong removes his shirt and chops Dream again. Strong talks trash to Dream. Strong is wearing black jeans. Strong hits running knees to the head before Dream counters and sends him headfirst into the cage wall. Dream then hits a back body drop into the cage wall!
Marina Shafir runs down to ringside and slides a kendo stick into the cage! She then runs off.
We come back from the break to see Dream standing on the top rope and jumping, but Strong gets the leg up. Dream blocks it and applies a Strong Hold! Strong gets out and applies a Strong Hold on Dream. Dream fights out and covers for a two count. Dream picks him up, but Strong holds the top rope. Dream dropkicks him into the cage wall before superkicking him. Dream grabs him, but Strong pulls him headfirst into the cage wall.
Strong grabs the kendo stick Marina Shafir brought in. Dream kicks Strong before it can be used. Dream picks it up, but Strong avoids a kendo stick shot. Strong then uses the kendo stick to hit a pumphandle backbreaker! Strong climbs the cage wall, but Dream stops him. Dream reveals Strong’s backside. Strong pulls his pants up, and they’re fighting on the top rope. Strong then hits Dream with an Olympic Slam off the top rope! Strong slowly crawls over for a near fall.
Strong crawls toward the door, but Dream dives over him to escape. Strong pulls him back and dives toward the door, but Dream cuts him off. Dream quickly connects with a Dream Valley Driver. Strong gets to his feet somehow, so Dream hits another Dream Valley Driver. Dream climbs the cage and stands on top. The Undisputed ERA comes down to ringside. Dream gets down from the top and grabs the kendo stick. Dream hits the cage wall with the stick to keep them back. Adam Cole gets in the ring, but Dream flips him off to the mat. Strong is heading toward the door, but Dream catches him. Dream then looks back at Adam Cole in the ring and pushes Strong out!
Winner by Escape: Roderick Strong
Dream uses a handcuff to lock the cage door shut! Dream viciously attacks Adam Cole and takes him down. Strong tries to climb back in, but Dream attacks him with the kendo stick. Dream sends Cole into Strong, putting him in the tree of woe. Dream then hits Cole with the Dream Valley Driver on the steel chair! Dream picks up the NXT Championship and holds it up. Dream puts the title in Strong’s face before ramming it into Cole’s head. Dream stands over Cole and dances with the NXT Title.
