A “You still got it” chant thunders in the arena. Edge says, “Ya damn right I do!” The crowd loudly cheers that.
Edge addresses the elephant in the room: how is he standing here one day removed from the Royal Rumble? Nine years ago, he was medically disqualified from ever doing this again. Edge refused to like in a world of “what ifs.” Edge constantly worked to make the “what if” disappear. Over the years, he started to feel pretty good and asked himself, “What if?” What if he came back home? Edge says he got to work. A loud “Welcome home” chant fires up. Orton sits down next to an unconscious Edge. Orton realizes what he’s done and backs up as the show comes to an end.
