Viceland Reportedly in Talks with NJPW for US TV Deal

Cable network Viceland has been in recent talks with NJPW regarding a potential television deal in the United States, Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Any new television deal will very likely involve TV-Asahi, NJPW’s Japanese home network, due to them owning the legal rights to NJPW footage.

NJPW’s weekly television series in the United States was dropped from AXS TV late last year as part of Anthem’s business plans following their purchase of the network this past September.
