In-Ring: Keith Lee, The Inner Circle
Keith Lee makes his way to the ring. He’ll face Roderick Strong for the NXT North American Championship next week on WWE NXT. The crowd sings to Lee. Lee says he implores the crowd to bask as they wish. The achievement has been unlocked. The specimen standing before them in the ring is now the #1 Contender. Lee doesn’t want to mislead the people. The Undisputed ERA has had a great 2019. They still hold every championship here in NXT right now. The end of their 2019 was the greatest of anyone… except him. The crowd starts to sing again. The Undisputed ERA has reached their limit while he is limitless. He’ll prove that next week when he beats Roderick Strong to become the NXT North American Champion.
The Undisputed ERA makes their way to the ring. NXT Champion Adam Cole asks if they’ve seen what they did to Imperium, Velveteen Dream, and others. Lee is next! They get in the ring, but Lee fights them off. Lee picks Cole up, but Roderick Strong hits Lee in the knee with the chair. Cole hits a Last Shot to the back of the head. Strong puts the chair around Lee’s ankle and comes off the second rope with a stomp!
Tommaso Ciampa runs down for the save and clears the ring of the Undisputed ERA. Lee struggles to get to his feet and limps around a bit.
Backstage: Tegan Nox
Tegan Nox is coming back. She’ll be in the #1 Contender’s Battle Royal. She’s looking forward to getting at Dakota Kai in the battle royal. Candice LeRae runs up to Nox and gives her a hug.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 1st Round Match
Pete Dunne & Matt Riddle vs. Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster
Pete Dunne starts against Mark Andrews. Matt Riddle tags in as Andrews hits Dunne with a hurricanrana. Webster tags in, and we’re at a stalemate.
We come back from the break to see Morgan hit Riddle with a dropkick. Dunne tags in and goes for a German Suplex, but Morgan flips through. Webster goes for a guillotine, but Dunne counters into an X-Plex. Riddle tags in and connects with a Broton for a near fall. Riddle hits a bicycle kick to the back before Dunne tags back in. Morgan evades them and tags Andrews in.
Andrews hits a springboard hurricanrana on Dunne before attacking Riddle. Andrews hits Dunne and Riddle with a backflip double kick. Dunne puts Andrews on the apron, but Andrews rolls him up and rolls right into Riddle to deliver a tornado DDT. Dunne and Riddle are outside the ring. Webster is tagged back in, and they hit stereo summersault planchas!
They get Dunne in the ring and Andrews hits an assisted 450 splash. Webster picks up a two count. Dunne wrenches the arm, but Webster kicks him back. Webster hits a springboard, but Dunne forearms him out of mid-air! Andrews tags in and goes for a full nelson suplex, but Dunne elbows him in the face. Dunne flips over Andrews in the corner and kicks him before hitting a release German Suplex. Dunne kicks him in the head. Riddle tags in. Dunne and Riddle hit an X-Plex/powerbomb combo on Andrews before hitting stereo kicks with Dunne. Webster breaks up the pin. Dunne attacks Webster outside the ring. In the ring Riddle hits a bridging German Suplex for a near fall. Riddle knees Andrews in the face, but he grabs the bottom rope. Riddle hits a Broton before Dunne tags in. Dunne stomps the ankle and applies an ankle lock to Andrews. Andrews rolls through a northern lights suplex and hits a double stomp.
We come back from the break to see Webster dropkick Riddle and Dunne out of the ring. Webster goes to the top rope and hits a Swanton Bomb on them to the floor! Webster gets Riddle in the ring and tags Andrews in. Andrews goes for a diving cross-body block. Riddle catches him and goes for an electric chair drop. Webster attacks Riddle, and Andrews hits Riddle with a poisonrana for a near fall! Andrews soon hits Dunne with a tornado DDT on the floor. In the ring, Riddle spears Webster before spearing Andrews. Riddle goes for a Jackhammer, but Webster counters into a roll-up for a near fall.
Riddle soon hits an overhead kick. Riddle hits Webster with a Bro 2 Sleep while Dunne kicks him in the head… but Webster still kicks out. Webster soon rolls Riddle up. Andrews gets in the way of Dunne, so Dunne pushes him into Webster to break up the pin. The crowd is going wild for this match. Dunne and Andrews tag in. Dunne kicks Andrews in the head, but Andrews soon hits him with a stunner! Webster head-butts Riddle and goes for a suicide dive, but Riddle catches him and hits a Gotch Driver on the floor. Andrews goes for a shooting star press, but Dunne punches him in the face. Riddle tags in and hits Andrews with a Bro To Sleep for the win!

In-Ring: Tommaso Ciampa, Undisputed Era, Johnny Gargano
Tommaso Ciampa comes out to the ring sporting a black eye. Ciampa says the Undisputed ERA has a hit list, but so does he. Adam Cole is on the list. He said when Goldie was taken from him, they took his life. Ciampa wants his life back. He needs his life back.
The Undisputed ERA quickly charge the ring and attack Ciampa. They quickly overwhelm him, but Ciampa makes a comeback. It’s 4-on-1 as they stomp him down in the corner.
All of a sudden, Johnny Gargano runs down to help. Gargano takes down the UE before brawling with Cole. Gargano knocks Strong out of the ring. Ciampa hits Kyle O’Reilly with a draping DDT before Gargano superkicks Bobby Fish. The crowd chants, “DIY.” They hit the Meeting in the Middle on Fish and stand tall in the ring.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 1st Round Match
Alex Shelley & KUSHIDA vs. Grizzled Young Veterans
Alex Shelley and Zack Gibson start the match out. The crowd chants for Shelley. They lock up, and Gibson powers him to the corner. James Drake keeps Shelley from sending Gibson hard into the corner. Drake tags in, but Shelley fights away and hits a handspring double kick on Gibson and Drake. Kushida and Shelley then wipe them out with stereo planchas. Kushida is in, and he takes Drake down. Shelley tags in and takes Drake down before stepping on the hair and pulling up. Drake quickly knees Shelley in the midsection. Gibson tags in, as does Kushida. Kushida takes Gibson down and applies a modified arm bar. Shelley tags in, and they hit a double-team running suplex for a near fall.
Gibson soon hits a jawbreaker and knocks Kushida off the apron. Shelley kicks him, but Drake blind tags in. They quickly take Shelley down and stand over him.
We come back from the break to see Shelley try to fight off the Grizzled Young Veterans. Shelley rolls Drake up for a two count. Drake hits a vicious backbreaker, and Shelley rolls out of the ring to recover. They hit a backbreaker/plancha combo on Shelley at ringside. Gibson tags in and uppercuts Shelley before putting him in the ring. Gibson connects with a back suplex for a near fall. Drake tags in, but Shelley escapes and tags Kushida in.
Kushida runs wild on Gibson and Drake before hitting a handspring back elbow. They soon take Kushida down and roll him up, but he kicks out. Kushida takes Drake down. They hit stereo splashes on Drake, but Gibson breaks it up. Shelley and Kushida hit some double-team moves. Kushida goes to the top rope, but Gibson pushes him to the floor. Shelley goes for Sliced Break #2, but Drake counters into Ticket To Mayhem for the win!
Winners by Pinfall: The Grizzled Young Veterans
The Grizzled Young Veterans will face NXT Tag Team Champions Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semi-Finals. Shelley and Kushida go for handshakes, but The Grizzled Young Veterans decline and leave the ring. Gibson says Shelley and Kushida are a good tag team, but they’re great. They didn’t come here to shake hands with them. They’re going to win this tournament.
Segment: Chelsea Green, Robert Stone
Robert Stone and Chelsea Green are shown walking into the NXT Arena. Stone says they’ll have to wait to see the hottest former free agent. Green will not be in the Battle Royal tonight.

Finn Balor is shown talking about Ilja Dragunov, who he will be facing at WWE Worlds Collide. Balor says Dragunov reminds him of himself, but he’ll show him just who he is.
Tyler Breeze vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Lio Rush
NXT Cruiserweight Champion Angel Garza will be on commentary for the next match.
Breeze kicks Scott and takes Scott down. Breeze hits Rush with a backbreaker for a one count. Breeze goes for an Unprettier, but Scott puts him in the corner. Scott goes for a half nelson suplex on Rush, but Rush gets out. Scott hits Breeze with a head-scissor takeover before dropkicking Rush. Scott uppercuts Rush before chopping him. Scott goes to Breeze and viciously kicks him in the chest a few times. Rush runs Scott over with a forearm. Rush avoids Breeze with slides and cartwheels before kicking him. Breeze quickly puts him on the apron before going for a shoulder, but Rush moves. Scott charges, but Rush backflips off the apron while Scott does a summersault plancha intended for Rush. They land on their feet at ringside and go face-to-face! Rush avoids some strikes and hits a hurricanrana on the floor. Breeze kicks Rush in the face from the apron.
We come back from the break to see Scott throw Rush out of the ring. Breeze is down on the mat. Scott chops Breeze’s chest before grabbing Rush on the apron. Rush blocks a suplex back into the ring. Breeze hits Scott with a German Suplex while he suplexes Rush into the ring! Rush kicks Breeze. Soctt sends Rush into the ropes, but Rush avoids him. Breeze takes Scott and Rush down. Breeze dropkicks Rush before clotheslining Scott out of the ring. Breeze goes for a dive, but Scott moves. Rush hits a suicide dive on Breeze. Rush then hits a on Rush!
In the ring, Rush hits Scott with a Spanish Fly for a two count. Scott soon kicks Rush and Breeze. Breeze comes back with a superkick on Scott for a near fall. Breeze goes for a suplex on Scott, but he blocks it. Scott fights him off and punches Breeze in the face. Rush sends Breeze out of the ring before booting Scott back. Breeze grabs Rush’s ankle, so Rush hits a wrecking ball dropkick. Scott attacks Rush from behind, but Rush counters with a poisonrana. Rush immediately hits Breeze with a suicide dive before going to the top rope and hitting Scott with a Final Hour, but Breeze breaks up the pin!
Rush punches Breeze and Scott back. They respond with a kick to Rush’s midsection. Breeze and Scott brawl before Rush hits an enzuigiri on Breeze. Rush sends Scott’s kick into Scott. Breeze hits Scott with a Supermodel Kick before Scott hits him with a spinning heel kick. Rush hits Breeze with a Final Hour. Scott goes to throw Rush out of the ring, but Rush counters with a Come Up! Breeze quickly rolls Rush up for a near fall. Breeze goes for an Unprettier, but Rush gets out. Breeze quickly hits a spinning heel kick. Scott kicks Rush before hitting Breeze with a JML Driver for the win!

Scott will be entered into a Fatal 4-Way for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship at WWE Worlds Collide.
Backstage: Rhea Ripley
Cathy Kelley asks NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley if there’s a competitor she hopes wins. Ripley says she’ll run through Toni Storm and whoever wins the Battle Royal. The Nightmare is just beginning.
Backstage: Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Undisputed Era, Keith Lee
Johnny Gargano is outside with Cathy Kelley. Tommaso Ciampa walks up. They agree to reunite “for old time’s sake” to face Moustache Mountain at WWE Worlds Collide. All of a sudden, security pours out trying to hold The Undisputed ERA back. Keith Lee comes out and grabs a security guard before putting him through a car windshield. Lee throws another into a truck. Lee shouts that the prophecy ends with him next week.

The women start making their entrances for the Battle Royal. Kacy Catanzaro is a surprise entrant, making her return to NXT.
The bell rings, and a big brawl breaks out. Santana Garrett and Mercedes Martinez team up to try to eliminate Catalina. Carter is nearly eliminated, but she hangs on. Everyone is struggling to eliminate one another, but everyone holds on. Baszler throws MJ Jenkins over the top rope, but she holds on. Baszler manipulates the joints to eliminate Jenkins. Belair attacks Kamea and puts her on the apron. Kamea quickly gets into the ring. Belair hits a double chickenwing throw on Kamea to send her over the top rope for the elimination.
Catalina dropkicks Baszler and hits a head-scissor takeover. Baszler soon turns Catalina on the top rope and throws her down to the floor. Garrett is on the apron, but she knocks Martinez back to stay in this. Carter grabs Baszler, but Baszler puts her on the apron. Catanzaro is thrown over the top rope onto Carter, but Catanzaro holds and flips herself into the ring. Baszler eliminates Carter with a forearm to the face.
We come back from the break to see Baszler kick Garrett in the face to eliminate her. Yim hits Protect Ya Neck on Borne and eliminates her. Indi Hartwell was eliminated during the break. Deonna Purrazzo is eliminated by Blackheart. Purrazzo pulls Blackheart under the bottom rope and kicks her. Li kicks Shirai down before kicking Belair. Belair quickly eliminates Li from the match. Catanzaro shoulder Shirai, but Shirai dropkicks her to the floor for the elimination.
Belair grabs LeRae and forearms her a few times. Belair presses her up, but LeRae gets out. Belair puts LeRae on the apron and sends her into the ring post to eliminate her. Belair celebrates in the ring. Martinez is put on the apron, but she avoids a boot from Yim. Martinez suplexes her over the top rope to the floor for the elimination. Baszler and Martinez go face-to-face. Baszler and Martinez trade punches before getting into a hockey fight. Martinez uppercuts Baszler and chops the chest. Martinez goes for a slam, but Baszler counters into a Kirifuda Clutch. Martinez gets out and tries to put her over the top rope, but Baszler eliminates her at the last second.
The final four are Baszler, Nox, Belair, and Shirai. Nox fights them all off with kicks and cross-body blocks. Nox avalanches Baszler and Belair in the corner before hitting cannonballs on both. Nox takes Baszler down before sending Belair to the apron. Nox then chokeslams Shirai onto Baszler. Belair accidentally spears Baszler after Nox moves. Baszler is put over the top rope, but she holds on. Nox hits a Shiniest Wizard on Belair. Nox knocks Shirai down and goes to the top rope, but Dakota Kai comes out and pulls her to the floor for the elimination. Kai throws the knee brace at Nox before walking off.
Baszler kicks Belair in the face before applying a Kirifuda Clutch to Shirai. Blackheart all of a sudden runs in and eliminates Baszler! Blackheart was never eliminated! The crowd is chanting, “Shotzi!” Belair then eliminates Blackheart.
We’re down to Shirai and Belair. Belair attacks Shirai and throws her across the ring a few times. Belair goes to powerbomb her over the top rope, but Shirai holds on. Shirai gets out and hits a drop-toe-hold into the ropes. Shirai hits the 619 to Belair and goes to the top rope. Shirai goes for a cross-body block, but Belair catches her and hits a fallaway slam. Belair pulls the hair and goes for a slam, but Shirai counters into a roll-up into the turnbuckles. Shirai puts Belair on the top rope and punches her. Shirai climbs to the top rope for a super hurricanrana, but Belair holds on. Shirai rolls off and knocks Belair to the apron. Belair pulls Shirai to the apron over the top rope. They’re both in danger. Shirai gets out of a fireman’s carry and goes for a German Suplex, but Belair hangs on. Shirai and Belair trade punches before Belair rolls into the ring. Shirai steps on the ponytail, so Belair takes her down. They’re both back in the ring.
They trade punches in the center of the ring. Shirai soon dropkicks Belair and hits the ropes. Belair quickly spears her down. Belair lifts Shirai up, but Shirai gets out. Shirai connects with a German Suplex. Belair all of a sudden lifts Shirai up and eliminates her for the win!
Winner: Bianca Belair
Bianca Belair will challenge Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: Portland in February.
