WWE: Kairi Sane Possibly Injured, Braun Strowman Not Medically Cleared

Kairi Sane appeared to be possibly concussed during the TLC main event between the Kabuki Warriors and Charlotte and Becky Lynch.

Kairi was “being medically checked out” after the show, according to Bryan Alvarez.

She looked out of it for the last few minutes of the match and it appeared that the others had to adjust the end on the fly.

It’s not clear when she may have been injured, but there were a few different spots where it looked like she could have been hurt. She appeared to be OK until taking a kendo stick shot from Charlotte, which may have possibly hit her in the head as she was climbing the ladder. After that, she was also suplexed hard into the crowd barricade by Charlotte and landed awkwardly on her head. Shortly after that, she was able to get on top of the announce table and attempt an elbow drop onto Becky, but Becky got her boot up and hit her in the face/head. She looked like she was out on her feet for the rest of the match.

There was also a point in the match where Becky and Charlotte threw monitors, which looked like they may have hit Kairi, but if you look at the frames, the monitor clearly goes behind a nearby chair and does not hit Kairi.

We’ll hopefully know more by Monday.

Braun Strowman

WWE had plans for a Braun Strowman vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match at TLC, but Braun Strowman has been dealing with back spasms, according to Dave Meltzer.

WWE was supposed to set up an angle for the match at the December 7 SmackDown, but Strowman wasn’t cleared, and he still hasn’t been cleared, Meltzer says.
