NWA to Air New Episode of Powerrr This Monday

The National Wrestling Alliance announced that this week’s episode of NWA Powerrr will be airing this Monday starting at 6:05PM EST on their official YouTube channel and Facebook account.

AEW News & Notes

All Elite Wrestling generated an attendance of around 3,500 for their Dynamite show this past Wednesday in Corpus Christi, Texas, according to PWInsider.

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Lance Archer was in attendance at AEW’s Dynamite show in Corpus Christi, according to the Wrestling Observer.

As noted before, AEW announced that ticket sales for their Revolution event on February 29th in Chicago, Illinois quickly sold out after going on sale this past Friday. Post Wrestling’s John Pollock reported that based on the potential configuration for wrestling events, AEW likely is looking at an attendance of around 8,500 for the show at the Wintrust Arena.

La Parka Health Status Update

As noted before, La Parka suffered a serious neck-related injury at an event for KAOZ Lucha Libre this past October.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that La Parka was recently discharged from the hospital and is currently recovering from his life-threatening injuries at his hom in Monterrey, Mexico. Meltzer also reported that La Parka’s medical costs were over $157,000 and were fully taken care of by Lucha Libre AAA.

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Flamita reportedly has recently signed a multi-year contract with Ring of Honor, according to PWInsider.

ROH reportedly generated an overall attendance of around 1,000 for their Final Battle 2019 event on December 13th in Baltimore, Maryland and around 350 for their Final Battle Fallout event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Ticket sales for both nights of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 14 event reportedly are still selling at a faster pace than last year’s Wrestle Kingdom 13 event, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Major League Wrestling announced that Erick Stevens will be making his official debut for the company at their Zero Hour event on January 11th in Dallas, Texas.

MLW also announced a new match for the card of their Zero Hour event on January 11th in Dallas, Texas:
