Major League Wrestling announced today that they have released Teddy Hart, simply saying, “Major League Wrestling has come to terms on the release of Teddy Hart.”
Hart had been one of the cornerstones of MLW since its relaunch in 2017 and was part of a new Hart Foundation stable alongside Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Brian Pillman Jr.
We don’t know why MLW released him, but last month, Hart responded to allegations that were made against him regarding the disappearance of his former girlfriend Samantha Fiddler in 2016, saying that he and Fiddler had been broken up and lived in different states at the time of her disappearance.
Three days later, Hart dropped the MLW Middleweight Championship to Myron Reed at an MLW Fusion TV taping. That was his last match for the promotion.
I want to address some of the things that have been said about me in the last few days.
