The first gem is from an October 31, 1989 episode of WWF Superstars from WWF featuring a dark match of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper vs. “Ravishing” Rick Rude.

WWE and AEW File Several New Trademarks

WWE and All Elite Wrestling recently filed several new trademarks to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

A trademark for “UUDD” was filed by WWE on October 22nd for merchandise-related purposes. This is also the initials of Xavier Woods’ UpUpDownDown gaming channel on YouTube.

A trademark for “Inner Circle” and its logo was filed by AEW on October 23rd for merchandise-related purposes.

Major League Wrestling announced two new matches for the card of their Saturday Night SuperFight event on November 2nd in Cicero, Illinois:
– Low Ki vs. Brian Pillman Jr.
– Stairway to Hell match – Mance Warner vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Bestia 666

MLW also announced that they have recently hired Chris DeJoseph, former executive producer of Lucha Underground, to an official contract with the company. DeJoseph will be working as a co-executive producer for the company.

Ring of Honor recently announced that they have postponed this year’s Survival of the Fittest tournament, which was originally scheduled to take place this November in Dallas and San Antonio, Texas. The official reason given was due to “operational conflict” and their originally planned Texas tour will now be taking place in early June 2020.

Lucha Libre AAA recently announced that Kenny Omega will be defending his AAA Mega Championship at their TripleMania Regia event on December 1st in Monterrey, Mexico.
