Adam Cole Comments on NXT’s Upcoming Wednesday Night War with AEW

Fox News held a recent interview with Adam Cole and one of the topics discussed included his thoughts on NXT going head to head against All Elite Wrestling’s upcoming weekly television series.

“You know, obviously with this event on Wednesday and the other promotion has an event on Wednesday, people are going to make comparisons [and] talk about both shows. But I can tell you this — I don’t mean to speak for them, but I have a strong feeling this is how they feel because I know “NXT.” We’re solely focused on making sure that “NXT” is the best possible show that we possibly can. And I’m sure those guys feel the exact same way. So in turn, of course, it’s exciting for the wrestling fans. They get to compare. They get to watch both events which is awesome, but they’re focused on making sure their show rules. And I know we’re focused on making our show rule and in turn again just really exciting for everybody.”

WWE Network Hidden Gems Addition

This week’s addition to WWE Network’s Hidden Gems series is Texas Rasslin and American Wrestling Association themed, featuring two classic matches and one classic event.

The first gem is from a January 12, 1954 event from Texas Rasslin’ featuring a karate match of Phil Silva vs. four other competitors.

WWE Files Several New Trademarks

WWE recently filed several new trademarks to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, according to PWInsider.

Trademarks for “Boa” and “The Disrespected” were filed on September 16th for wrestling and entertainment-related services.

Trademarks for “Follow That My Friend” and “FTMF” were filed on September 17th for entertainment and merchandise-related purposes.
