WWE wants Rey Mysterio’s son, Dominick Gutierrez, to wrestle soon, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The belief right now is that he’s not ready to wrestle on a WWE stage yet, but they hope that he will be ready in 2020, the Observer says.
Dominick was part of the Mysterio/Samoa Joe angle a few months ago before Mysterio went down with an injury and the angle was seemingly dropped. The Observer speculated that the latest Rey Mysterio angle where he’s doubting his career could possibly lead into an angle involving Dominick again.
