Earlier this week, The Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA – the site of WWE Hell in a Cell on October 6 – put out an advertisement that “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt will wrestle for the Universal Championship in a Hell in a Cell match at the PPV.

Match advertisements this early are often just filler and often change, but specifically advertising a Universal title match with Wyatt seemed like an odd choice for a filler ad.
It now looks like the match is actually going to happen. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bray Wyatt headlining the Hell in a Cell PPV and challenging for the Universal Championship is in fact the plan at this point.
Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt tweeted this yesterday:
If the student has to teach the teacher then so be it!!!! He can get these hands like anybody else. #LetTheGamesBegin #MyDoorsOpenComeOnIn
