The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) are the new Impact Tag Team Champions, winning the titles from LAX last night at Impact’s “Bash at the Brewery” Impact Plus special in San Antonio, TX.
Page nailed Santana with one of the belts behind the referee’s back and Alexander rolled him up for the win.
Impact also announced that there will now be a triple threat tag team match at Slammiversary tonight, with The North defending against LAX and The Rascalz. The match was originally supposed to just be LAX vs. The Rascalz.
LAX’s contracts with Impact reportedly expire some time in August and there has been a lot of interest in them from both WWE and AEW.
