Tonight, bitter enemies will be forced to team together in a one night tournament to determine the next challenger for the World Championship… this is Mash-Up!
The format is as follows. There will be four 1st-round matchups. The winners of those matches will advance to a four-way final. The team that wins the Mash-Up Tournament final will face each other at our next IMPACT Plus event, Unbreakable on August 2nd, and the winner of that will be number one contender for the World Championship, currently held by Brian Cage!
Mash-Up Tournament 1st Round Match
Moose & Eddie Edwards vs. Rohit Raju & Cody Deaner
Cody hits the ropes but Moose hits him in the back with a knee. Cody knocks Moose off the apron but the distraction allows Eddie to gain control with a belly-to-belly suplex on Cody. Moose and Eddie are working together well in the early going as they hit a flurry of double team offense on Rohit! Cody is about to GIVE’R when Rohit steals his hat! Moose takes advantage of them arguing and hits Rohit with a big kick! Eddie follows up with the Boston Knee Party to win and advance to the finals!
Winners: Moose & Eddie Edwards
After the match, a brawl breaks out between The Deaners and the Desi Hit Squad! Their feud is far from over!

Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs interviews Ace Austin & Aiden Prince ahead of their match against Michael Elgin and Willie Mack in the Mash-Up Tournament tonight. Ace disrespects Aiden and says he lacks star power. Aiden is fed up and refuses to team with Ace tonight! He has to find a new partner if he wants to compete in the Mash-Up Tournament tonight!
Mash-Up Tournament 1st Round Match
Rich Swann & Madman Fulton vs. Jake Crist & Wentz
Wentz attempts a springboard but Fulton cuts him off in mid-air with a shoulder tackle. Jake takes out Rich with a series of superkicks! Rich is about to tag in Fulton when Jake pulls him back to their side of the ring. Rich turns it around with a handspring cutter to Jake! Fulton kicks Wentz off the apron. It looks likes he’s about to take out his fellow oVe member Jake Crist but Jake instructs him not to! Fulton ends up attacking his own tag team partner, Rich Swann! Fulton hits him with multiple chokeslams. Jake follows up with a Fisherman’s Buster on Rich to win and advance to the finals!

Backstage, Ace Austin tries to recruit Madison Rayne to be his partner in the Mash-Up Tournament tonight but she turns him down! None other than Stone Rockwell comes flying in to save the day! It’s time for an adventure!
Mash-Up Tournament 1st Round Match
Michael Elgin & Willie Mack vs. Ace Austin & Stone Rockwell
Ace and Stone aren’t getting along in the early going. Stone wants to be tagged in but Ace refuses and throws a card in his face. Willie hits Ace with a standing Moonsault! Elgin takes control with a big Enzuigiri to Ace. Stone is playing to the crowd as Ace tags him in from behind. Elgin attempts to suplex Stone but he counters into a vertical suplex of his own! Elgin connects with an Elgin Bomb on Stone to win.

Mash-Up Tournament 1st Round Match
Sami Callihan & Tessa Blanchard vs. Dave Crist & Trey
Trey comes out to the ring dressed like a member of oVe for his match in the Mash-Up Tournament! Callihan hits Dave with the Finger Poke of Doom but Trey isn’t going to let it end that way! In a bizarre turn of events, Tessa hits Dave with a superkick while Trey does the same to Callihan but they’re not partners! Trey flies over the top rope, crashing into Callihan and Dave on the outside. Tessa wants to be tagged into the match but Callihan refuses and gives her the middle finger. Callihan bodyslams Tessa on top of Trey for an inadvertent double-team move! Tessa returns the favor and does the same the Callihan! Trey attempts a top rope double foot stomp but Callihan avoids it and tags in Tessa. Tessa goes on the attack, hitting Dave with a cutter. Tessa hits Trey with Magnum but tweaks her knee in the process! Callihan tags himself in and follows up with a piledriver on Trey to win!
Winners: Sami Callihan & Tessa Blanchard
After the match, Tessa and Callihan argue in the backstage area. Will they be able to get on the same page for the Mash-Up Tournament finals?

Non-Title Triple Threat Match
Taya Valkyrie vs. Madison Rayne vs. Havok
Taya and Madison look to take out Havok in the early going as they team up on her. John E Bravo distracts the referee, allowing Taya to deliver an eye poke to Havok. Havok picks up and slams both Taya and Madison in an incredible display of strength! Bravo pulls Taya out of the ring and retreats as Havok hits Madison with a vicious Tombstone Piledriver to win!
Winner: Havok

Backstage, Michael Elgin reveals that regardless of what happens tonight in the Mash-Up Tournament, he’s got a non-title Street Fight against World Champion Brian Cage next week on IMPACT!
Mash-Up Tournament Finals Elimination Match
Eddie Edwards & Moose vs. Sami Callihan & Tessa Blanchard vs. Jake Crist & Wentz vs. Michael Elgin & Willie Mack
Callihan uses the groin claw on Moose. Moose pokes Callihan in the eye and follows up with a DDT. The match breaks down in the early going as everyone brawls on the floor! Moose launches his partner Eddie over the top rope, crashing into everyone on the outside! Willie hits Eddie with the Pounce! Elgin takes out Eddie with the Elgin Bomb to score the pin and eliminate the team of Eddie and Moose.
Wentz hits Elgin with a springboard corkscrew. Wentz follows up with a handspring attempt but Elgin catches him and connects with a powerslam. Jake Crist’s intentions become clear as he tags himself out of the match, making Callihan legal. Elgin takes out his own partner with a huge clothesline to Willie. Elgin leaves, abandoning his partner in the ring. This allows Callihan to pin Willie for the elimination.
Wentz hits Callihan with a springboard cutter. Tessa hits Wentz with the Buzzsaw DDT. Jake hits Tessa with a Death Valley Driver. Callihan tells Jake to go along with the Finger Poke of Doom but Jake refuses! Jake rolls up Callihan for a near fall! Tessa hits Jake with Magnum to score the pin and the win!
Tessa Blanchard and Sami Callihan have won the Mash-Up Tournament and will now face each other in a number one contender’s match, August 2nd at Unbreakable on IMPACT Plus!
