Drew McIntyre Reportedly Battling an Illness

Drew McIntyre reportedly is currently battling an unknown illness, according to PWInsider.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that McIntyre has been feeling very ill the past several days and despite his sickness, he worked at this past weekend’s RAW branded house show events and this week’s episode of RAW. No other details regarding the nature of McIntyre’s illness nor his current health status were given.

Renee Young Comments on WWE’s Recent Advice for Her Commentary Work

A recent episode of the Regular Girls podcast show with Renee Young as the co-host had Young discuss a variety of topics including the recent advice she was given by WWE to help improve the quality of her weekly commentary work.

“Each week, I’ve been working with Tom Phillips — This week I worked with Vic Joseph and we’ll go back and watch, or listen to my commentary on Raw or a pay-per-view and dissect it, they’ll give me pointers. It’s extremely beneficial to me. That was kinda the note, ‘You don’t have to talk as much as you think you need to talk. Maybe sit back and listen a little bit.’ I was like, ‘Okay.’ That’s really no easy task for me. I’m used to being ‘The Talker’ and keeping the ball afloat. When I don’t have the ball to keep it afloat, I think that’s an uncomfortable spot for me … sometimes I’m not really sure where I’m going, I just keep going until I land on it. But doing commentary, you can’t do that because everything is moving so quick and you’re telling a different story. For you to keep trying to land on the thing, the thing is gone by the time you’ve actually gotten to where you’re trying to get.”
