Kenny Omega Documentary to Air This March in Canada

As noted before, a documentary based on the wrestling career of Kenny Omega is currently scheduled to be released this year in Canada.

In an update to Omega’s documentary status, Canadian sports television network TSN announced that this documentary will be 60 minutes in length and premieres on their network on March 27th at 7:30PM ET. TSN also announced that the official title of the film is Omega Man: A Wrestling Love Story and focuses on Omega’s rise in international stardom in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Official synopsis:

“Winnipeg-born Tyson Smith, better known by his ring name, Kenny Omega, is the most famous wrestler you’ve never heard of. After opting out of a career with the WWE to pursue a role in the New Japan Pre-Wrestling, he skyrocketed to fame. Produced by Jockumentary Productions Inc. in association with Bell Media, directed by Yung Chang, and executive produced by Dale Burshtein.”

WWE Files New Trademark for WWE Network Show

A trademark for “Botch Club with Gallows and Anderson” was filed on December 19, 2018 for entertainment-related purposes. This new trademark covers the third of four new original shows that debuted on the WWE Network last December.

Major League Wrestling announced another new match for the card of their February 2nd MLW Superfight event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:
– Puma King vs. Gringo Loco

MLW also announced that Ace Austin will be making an appearance at their upcoming MLW Superfight event and will be a regular member of their roster going forward.

ROH announced that Stardom’s Mayu Iwatani will be making an appearance for the company at their ROH TV tapings in Lakeland, Florida on February 9th and their Bound By Honor 2019 event in Miami, Florida on February 10th.
