The Vince McMahon biopic appears to still be in the works. A new script rewrite was sent to WWE executives, including Vince McMahon, last month for feedback, according to PWInsider.
In 2017, the biographical movie, tentatively titled “Pandemonium,” was given the green light by TriStar Pictures.
The movie will be produced by WWE Studios and Vince McMahon will obviously remove a lot of unfavorable things from the script. The original script was reportedly really raunchy and did not have the blessing of Vince McMahon when it was being shopped around in 2016, leading many studios to pass because they didn’t want to anger Vince or WWE. But the producer “secured McMahon’s life rights” and WWE Studios will be involved, which led to a massive re-write.
It was also reported last year that Bradley Cooper was offered the role of Vince McMahon, but he hadn’t signed on yet and his decision depended on if he liked the script, among other things. No word on if he’s still involved.
