A new wrestling promotion, All Elite Wrestling is official. It was first announced at the end of an episode of Being the Elite which was released at midnight PT. Cody, the Young Bucks and Hangman Page had logos for “All Elite Wrestling” and “Double or Nothing” (All In 2) on their phone screens.
An official Twitter account then tweeted out the logo.

“All In 2,” which will be called “Double or Nothing,” was also announced, though there’s no date or any other details yet. There will be a “Double or Nothing Rally” on January 8 in Jacksonville, FL at TIAA Bank Field, which is the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The tweet below says that there will be a “special announcement from the Elite” which will presumably have more info about the promotion.

Here are some more notes about the promotion, via Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio:
- Tony Khan, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, is confirmed to be the owner of the company.
- Cody Rhodes is officially signed, as are some others, who weren’t specifically named. The Young Bucks, if they haven’t signed already, will officially sign soon. Their ROH contracts expired at midnight.
- They don’t have a TV deal yet but there are “multiple offers out there” and Meltzer says that he’s confident that they’ll get one.
- A relationship between AEW and NJPW is “up in the air.” AEW wants to work with NJPW, but whether or not NJPW will want to remains to be seen. NJPW has a close relationship with ROH and though the AEW guys are also obviously close with ROH, they will be competing against each other.
Thank you for making the decision to do this a no-brainer. We cannot do it without you. #AllEliteWrestling
