WWE announced that the 16th annual “Tribute to the Troops” will take place on Tuesday, December 4 in Fort Hood, Texas.
Though it’s on Tuesday, it will be taped separately from SmackDown. SmackDown will take place in Austin, Texas that night at the Frank Erwin Center. Last year, WWE taped Tribute to the Troops earlier in the day, which allowed wrestlers to appear on both shows.
WWE didn’t announce when or if the show will air. Last year, it aired on the Thursday of the following week on USA Network.
