This week’s addition to WWE Network’s Hidden Gems series is Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling themed, featuring two classic matches.
The first gem is from a July 9, 1983 house show event from MACW featuring a NWA World Tag Team Championship match of Ricky Steamboat & Jay Youngblood versus The Brisco Brothers (Jack & Jerry Brisco) (c).

The second and final gem is from the same house show event from MACW featuring a NWA World Heavyweight Championship match of Ric Flair versus Harley Race (c).

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes
AXS TV recently announced that they will be airing the top matches from NJPW’s upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 13 on the same day as the event itself. These matches will air on the network starting at 8:00PM ET on January 4, 2019. The network also announced that Kevin Kelly will be a full-time announcer for their weekly NJPW show starting next year.
Major League Wrestling announced two new matches for the card of their December 13th Never Say Never event in Miami, Florida:
– No Holds Barred match – Tom Lawlor vs. Simon Gotch
– MLW World Tag Team Championship match – The Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart & Davey Boy Smith Jr.) vs. Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix) (c)
ROH announced a new match for the card of their December 14th Final Battle 2018 event in New York City, New York. This was revealed to be an I Quit match between Bully Ray and Flip Gordon.
