Initial Card for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced the initial card for Wrestle Kingdom 13, which takes place on January 4, 2019 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

• IWGP Heavyweight Championship match – Hiroshi Tanahashi versus Kenny Omega (c)
• IWGP Intercontinental Championship match – Tetsuya Naito versus Chris Jericho (c)
• Kazuchika Okada versus Jay White
• IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship match – Taiji Ishimori versus KUSHIDA (c)
• IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Triple Threat match – Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH) versus Shingo Takagi & BUSHI versus El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru (c)

ROH recently announced that Zack Sabre Jr. will be making his debut appearance for the company at their December 14th Final Battle event in New York City, New York. Sabre will be facing off against Jonathan Gresham in a singles match at the event.

Impact Wrestling announced that they are officially partnering with House of Glory for an event called Culture Clash 2019, which takes places on April 4, 2019 in Queens, New York.

The El Rey Network is reported to have recently hired Mauricio Ricos as their new Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions, according to Post Wrestling. The network is currently planning on doubling the number of hours for original programming and expanding into new genres for shows starting next year. It is currently unknown if these new plans will have any impact on the future of Lucha Underground on the network.
