As noted before, Cody Rhodes implied in a recent Instagram posting that his time in ROH is nearing its end. Cody also said in a later tweet that his time with Bullet Club was also over.
Yesterday, Cody also tweeted, “I am not on that show,” referring to the ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard Show at Madison Square Garden next year.

Cody’s current contract with ROH actually expires at the end of this month, but it’s unlikely that he will sign a new deal prior to January 2019, if at all. Cody, the Young Bucks, and Adam Page have talked about sticking together and they will likely all want to see what’s available on the free agent market.
Cody’s final contractual dates for ROH will be for Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea cruise, which takes place from October 27-31. Dave Meltzer reported that Cody is currently expected to continue working for ROH on a per-date basis until January 2019.
Dave Meltzer also added that Cody would like to work for New Japan for the rest of his career if possible because he loves working there. Cody has been working for NJPW without having an actual contract there.
