Big Show Returning on SmackDown
The Big Show will make his return to WWE TV this week on SmackDown, where he will face Randy Orton in a “WWE World Cup Qualifying Match.”
The “WWE World Cup” was already announced for Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, but no details were given. It’ll apparently be a tournament.
Big Show’s last match was on September 4, 2017 against Braun Strowman, where he was written off TV when Strowman powerslammed him through a steel cage wall. Show underwent a scheduled hip surgery and has been out of action since.
Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy
Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy was announced as another WWE World Cup Qualifying Match on Tuesday’s SmackDown.
Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair Stipulation
A SmackDown Women’s Championship rematch between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will also take place on SmackDown. It was announced today that if Becky is disqualified, she will lose the title. The rematch was made due to Becky getting disqualified during their match at Super Show-Down when she hit Charlotte with the belt.
