WWE announced today via Twitter that starting this week, 205 Live will air on Wednesday nights at 7 PM ET on WWE Network.
Starting next week, @WWE205Live heads to Wednesday nights at 7pm ET on the award-winning @WWENetwork! #205Live
— 205Live (@WWE205Live) September 15, 2018
The first episode of the second season of Mixed Match Challenge begins this Tuesday and will air in 205 Live’s old timeslot at 10 PM ET after SmackDown.
WWE didn’t mention if 205 Live will go back to its old timeslot after Mixed Match Challenge is done, and there’s no word about when 205 Live will be taped. WWE could possibly start taping the show before SmackDown instead of after, which would probably be better for the show since as it is now, a lot of the crowd leaves after SmackDown, or they’re just tired and dead.
This also means that “205 Live” probably won’t be live anymore, so we’ll see if there’s a name change coming.
The Wednesday night WWE Network schedule will now have 205 Live at 7 PM ET, NXT at 8 and the Mae Young Classic at 9.
