Lucha Underground Ratings – August 1, 2018

This week’s episode of Lucha Underground drew 114,000 viewers on the El Rey Network, down from last week’s 125,000 viewers. This was the least viewed episode of the current season since the July 4th episode, which drew 88,000 viewers.

Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide announced that the card of Triplemanía XXVI in Mexico City, Mexico on August 25th features an AAA Mega Championship match of Fenix versus champion Jeff Jarrett.

Smash Wrestling announced that the card of their August 26th event in Toronto, Canada features a Triple Threat match of Jeff Cobb versus PCO versus Brody King.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that Michael Elgin suffered an arm injury at last Monday’s NJPW G1 Climax event but is currently not expected to miss the rest of the on-going tournament. The injury occurred after Elgin tried to catch Kazuchika Okada from a move which caused his right arm to give out.
