Miz on Importance of the WWE Championship and Why it Should Always Main Event PPVs
Sports Illustrated held a recent interview with The Miz and one of the topis discussed involved the importance of the WWE Championship and his thoughts on when it does not main event pay-per-view events.
“My goal is to make the WWE championship as relevant and prestigious as it should be. Now do I think AJ Styles is doing a terrific job as WWE champion? Absolutely. But that WWE Championship should be in the main event of every pay per view, and it upsets me when I see that it’s not. My goal is to not only win the Money in the Bank contract, cash it in, and become WWE champion. I want to put that title back where it belongs: the main event. Like I always say, the man makes the title, the title doesn’t make the man. I will make the WWE Championship the most prestigious and honorable title in all the WWE just like I did the Intercontinental championship.”
Vince Russo and Cody Currently in a Dispute Regarding All In
Vince Russo is currently reported to be in a dispute with Cody in regards to being removed from a Starrcast convention associated with the All In event. According to the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, Cody asked for Russo to be removed from the guests list when he found out who was being invited to the convention. Cody responded to Russo’s complaints on Twitter stating they do not want his bad reputation to be associated with their event.
The ABSOLUTE FACT that I am ready, willing and able to appear at ALL IN while others are already attempting to do EVERYTHING in their power to keep me from attending-tells you just about everything you need to know about ME & THEM.
