WWE Reported to Hold a Pessimistic View of Their Tag Team Divisions
WWE is reported to currently hold a pessimistic view of their tag team divisions and tag team wrestling in general, according to PWInsider.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported in a recent Elite Audio episode that the official reason why WWE puts very little effort into their tag team divisions is due to the internal feeling of there being no money to be made by showcasing tag team wrestling nor do they see the desire to invest in any of their current tag teams.
Mike Johnson – “I think they have decided that nobody involved in the tag division is worth their time and they’re not going to invest into it because they don’t think it makes them any money. And That’s that.”
Vince McMahon has been reported periodically to hold a poor outlook towards tag team wrestling due to his preference for singles wrestling and disliking potential money making stars being stuck in tag teams.
