Madison Square Garden Pays Tribute to Bruno Sammartino
Due to his historical wrestling ties to the arena, Madison Square Garden recently paid tribute to the life and legacy of Bruno Sammartino. Sammartino currently holds the all-time record for most sellouts and main events by a professional wrestler in the history of the arena.

NXT’s Kassius Ohno to Compete at PROGRESS’ Upcoming Super Strong Style 16 Tournament
PROGRESS Wrestling recently announced NXT’s Kassius Ohno will be one of the entrants for next month’s Super Strong Style 16 tournament. This year’s tournament occurs from May 5th to May 7th at the Alexandra Palace in London, England.
This will be the first time since 2016 that Ohno will be making an appearance for PROGRESS and also be competing in their annual tournament. Ohno lost in the semi-finals to Tommy End (Aleister Black in NXT) during the 2016 edition of the tournament.
Ohno will be joining Pete Dunne, Keith Lee, Zack Sabre Jr., Doug Williams, Angelico, Mark Andrews, Flash Morgan Webster, Chuck Mambo, Chris Brookes, Jordan Devlin, Joey Janela, TK Cooper, David Starr, and Tyler Bate for the field of this year’s 16-man tournament with one spot remaining.
Sneak Preview of WWE’s Hardy Boyz DVD Set Released
As previously reported, WWE collaborated with Impact Wrestling on the production of their upcoming Hardy Boyz DVD set called Twist of Fate: The Best of the Hardy Boyz. This 3-disc set is currently scheduled to be released on May 1st in the United States and features footage from Impact Wrestling for the “Broken” era of the Hardy Boyz’s career.
In an update to this situation, website WrestlingDVDNetwork recently released a sneak preview video showcasing the DVD set’s intro.
