Full Card for NJPW’s Sakura Genesis

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently revealed the full card for Sakura Genesis on April 1st in Tokyo, Japan. Prior to the event, NJPW announced they will be holding a “Road To” show on March 30th with EVIL making his official in-ring return since suffering an eye injury during last month’s Australian tour.

2018 Class of the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame

The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame announced four wrestlers will be enshrined for this year’s class of inductees. Each inductee will be presented an honorary award as part of their enshrinement. This year’s ceremony is scheduled to occur from July 26-28 in Waterloo, Iowa.

This year’s class of inductees:
* Lou Thesz Award – Booker T.
* Frank Gotch Award – Bruiser Brody (posthumous induction).
* George Tragos Award – Ben Askren.
* Jim Melby Award – Koji Miyamoto.

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

PROGRESS announced a new match for the card of their April 7th show in New Orleans. This will be a singles match of WALTER versus Zack Sabre Jr. with the winner to receive a guaranteed title shot for the PROGRESS World Championship.

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla announced they are leaving their longtime home of the American Legion Post #308 arena in Reseda, California after this May. The company will be holding three final events at the arena on April 20th, April 21st, and May 25th.

Impact Wrestling announced they have formed a partnership with RISE Wrestling for the creation of original content for Impact’s Twitch channel and Global Wrestling Network service. RISE will also be helping with the development and training of women wrestlers for Impact.
