EC3 vs. Tyrus
Tyrus overpowers EC3 in the early going. EC3 retreats to the outside, avoiding the big man! EC3 attempts a powerslam but can’t get Tyrus off his feet. EC3 uses his speed edge to gain the advantage. EC3 hits a thumb to the eye but Tyrus counters his follow-up One Percenter attempt. Tyrus connects with a One Percenter of his own, followed by a Chokeslam to win.
Winner: Tyrus
Backstage: Joseph Park
Backstage, Joseph Park is on the phone and says that no matter what Jimmy Jacobs wants, the monster Abyss is never coming back. He has a match later tonight with Kongo Kong.
Segment: Sami Callihan
We see footage from the oVe cam. Sami Callihan calls out Eddie Edwards and says oVe is coming for him.
AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo del Fantasma vs. Braxton Sutter
Braxton Sutter is back and is looking to start off his return with a win. Fantasma hits a backbreaker for the two-count. Fantasma kicks Sutter to the outside, followed by his huge signature suicide dive! Sutter attempts to pin Fantasma with his feet on the ropes. Sutter follows up with a powerbomb and holds Fantasma’s tights on the pin but somehow, Fantasma still kicks out! Fantasma turns it around and connects with the Thrill of the Hunt to pick up the win.
Winner: El Hiji del Fantasma
After the match, Sutter gets on the mic and says Allie isn’t at ringside with him because she ruins lives. Sutter says he’s been underappreciated and the fans don’t realize that he’s the biggest star they’ve ever seen. Brian Cage interrupts and takes out Sutter with the Drill Claw!
Backstage: Matt Sydal, Taiji Ishimori
Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Matt Sydal ahead of his match at Crossroads against Taiji Ishimori for the X-Division championship. Ishimori interrupts and hands Sydal a scroll. Sydal hands it to McKenzie to read. It asks if Sydal will put the Grand Championship on the line in the match against Ishimori next week, making it a dual-championship match. Ishimori insults Sydal, causing him to leave before answering the question.
Kongo Kong w/ Jimmy Jacobs vs. Joseph Park
This match is Park’s punishment for not bringing back the monster Abyss. Kong dominates and connects with a massive top-rope splash for the win!
Winner: Kongo Kong
After the match, Jacobs asks Park if Abyss is going to show up. Park says no and Kong begins to choke him! Jacobs says it didn’t have to be this way and reminds Park that they’re just getting started.
Backstage: Cult of Lee, LAX
The Cult of Lee is celebrating after their recent victory over LAX, earning them a tag team championship match next week at Crossroads. The Mumbai Cats show up and the Cult of Lee apologizes for attacking them a few weeks ago. Then, Konnan arrives to the party and tells them they may have stolen LAX’s bandana’s but they’re not going to steal their tag team titles. The Mumbai Cats take off their masks and it’s actually Santana and Ortiz! They attack the Cult of Lee and throw them into the swimming pool!
Backstage: Alberto El Patron
Alberto El Patron warns Austin Aries and Johnny Impact that it should be him competing for the World Championship at Crossroads next week. He says whoever walks away with the title, they’re eventually going to have to face him. His goal is to once again become the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion.
Hania vs. Rosemary
Hania counters an early Red Wedding attempt and follows up with a big kick to the head. Rosemary hits a missile dropkick from the top rope, followed by a suplex for a near fall. Rosemary connects with the Spear, followed by Red Wedding to win.
Winner: Rosemary
After the match, Rosemary says she will stop at nothing to reclaim the Knockouts championship. But then, the returning Taya Valkyrie interrupts and stands face to face with Rosemary! Taya insults her but as soon as Rosemary turns her back, Taya attacks her from behind! Taya lays her out with Road to Valhalla on the steel entrance ramp!
In-Ring: Laurel Van Ness’ Commitment Ceremony to the Knockouts Championship
KM is the minister for this ceremony to marry Laurel Van Ness and the Knockouts Championship so they can be together forever. KM asks if anyone objects and Braxton Sutter comes out! He says being attacked by Brian Cage earlier made him realize that he made a mistake when he left her at the altar for Allie one year ago. Sutter proposes a three-way relationship between himself, Laurel and the Knockouts championship but Laurel says no! Sutter leaves and KM asks once again if anyone has any objections. Nobody does but it seems like Laurel wants someone to object. Then, it looks as though a crew member is getting in the ring but it’s actually Allie in disguise! Allie attacks Laurel from behind and stands tall in the middle of the ring!
Sami Callihan w/ oVe (Jake & Dave Crist) vs. Eddie Edwards
The action is fast and furious right off the top as Edwards and Callihan exchange suicide dives to the outside! They brawl around the ringside area and when oVe tries to get involved, the referee ejects them! Callihan gains control with a big kick from the apron. Callihan hits a brutal piledriver on the apron, the hardest part of the ring! Callihan follows up with a sit-down powerbomb for a near fall. Edwards hits a huge superplex off the top rope! Callihan connects with a swinging neckbreaker but Edwards gets his foot on the rope to break up the pin attempt! Edwards rolls up Callihan to win the match but once the bell rings, Callihan attacks him from behind.
Lashley is on his way to the ring but is blindsided by Jake and Dave Crist in the backstage area!
Callihan places a chair on top of Edwards and swings a baseball bat into the chair, into Edwards!
Meanwhile, the two-on-one assault from oVe continues on Lashley in the back as IMPACT! goes off the air.
Next week on IMPACT!, it’s the Crossroads special event! Laurel Van Ness defends the Knockouts title against Allie, Taiji Ishimori faces Matt Sydal with both the X-Division and Grand Championships on the line, the Cult of Lee takes on LAX for the tag team titles, Lashley teams with Eddie Edwards versus oVe and the World title is up for grabs when Austin Aries battles Johnny Impact.
