Kickoff Show
Kalisto, Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik vs. TJP, Gentleman Jack Gallagher & Drew Gulak
In a cool spot, the lucha mask team climbed to the top rope on one corner and hit a triple moonsault onto the heel team on the outside. Later, Jack Gallagher went up to the middle rope and Gulak started yelling at him, telling him to avoid high flying moves. Gallagher said it was fine and he dived off the middle rope, but missed and landed on his face. The lucha team then hit a series of cool high flying moves, which finally got the crowd into the match. Kalisto then hit a Salida del Sol on TJP for the win.
Winners: Kalisto, Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik (~13 minutes)
Kickoff Show
Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. The Revival
Really standard basic WWE match. A few minutes into it, Gallows and Anderson went for the Magic Killer on Wilder, but Dawson broke it up. Wilder then hit a chop block from behind on Anderson’s knee and pinned him… It says “JUST FISTS” in big letters on the back of The Revival’s tights.

Kickoff Show
United States Championship
Bobby Roode (c) vs. Mojo Rawley
Roode came out and cut a short promo, then said that the United States Open Challenge begins tonight. Mojo Rawley’s theme and he came out to no reaction. A few minutes into the match, Roode went for a Glorious DDT, but Mojo broke free and regained control of the match, then started taunting and yelling at Roode, which allowed Roode to nail him with a spinebuster. He went for the Glorious DDT again but Mojo broke free again and tossed him shoulder-first into the ring post. Mojo ran at him for a clothesline, but Roode hit him with a boot, then finally hit the Glorious DDT for the win.
Winner: Bobby Roode (~8 minutes)
WWE Championship – Handicap Match
AJ Styles (c) vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
Owens and Zayn can only be in the ring one at a time and have to tag each other in. Seems like barely anything happened in this match for like the first 10 minutes. Boring… Zayn eventually went for the Helluva Kick, but Styles blocked it. Nice Hurricanrana spot by Styles on Zayn, then Styles locked on the Calf Crusher on Owens, but Zayn broke it up. Blue Thunder Bomb by Zayn for a near fall.
Later, Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm on Zayn but Owens broke up the pin. Zayn tried to tag Owens but couldn’t reach him and Styles threw Zayn out of the ring. Owens ran in and nailed Styles with a superkick, but Styles suddenly rolled Owens up for the pinfall, even though I don’t think he was the legal man. A replay showed that Zayn didn’t make the tag…
Winner: AJ Styles (~16 minutes)
After the match, backstage, Owens and Styles argued with Shane McMahon, saying that the referee screwed them and Owens was never tagged in. They asked Shane if he saw that. Shane said, “Did I see that? Yeah,” then smiled and walked away, angering Owens and Zayn.
WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship – Two Out of Three Falls Match
The Usos (c) vs. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin
The Usos are the faces in this match, I guess. They did the “hot tag” thing, with Jey Uso coming in after Jimmy was beaten down for a while. Cool moonsault off the top rope by Gable onto both Usos on the outside. Gable went for a German suplex, but was superkicked multiple times by the Usos and they got the first pinfall.

Later, Gable and Benjamin hit their finisher (double team powerbomb/clothesline) on Jimmy Uso on the outside, taking him out. Back in the ring, Jimmy suddenly rolled up Shelton Benjamin and got the win…
Winners: The Usos (2-0) (~14 minutes)
Men’s Royal Rumble
The men’s Royal Rumble is going on very early… Jerry Lawler was introduced and will be on commentary, along with Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton.
1. Rusev
Aiden English came out and introduced Rusev, who got a huge pop from the crowd, who started chanting “Rusev Day.”

The Philly crowd chanted “ECW.”
4. Baron Corbin
Rhyno went for a Gore, but Corbin hit him with a Deep Six and eliminated him.

Corbin was angry and dragged Corbin out of the ring and attacked him, hurting his arm, then dragged Rusev out and hit him with the Deep Six on the outside.
5. Heath Slater
Corbin clotheslined Heath Slater on the entrance ramp and officials finally got Corbin out of the arena.
6. Elias
Elias came out with his guitar and started playing it as he walked down the entrance ramp. He kicked Heath Slater on his way then asked the crowd “Who wants to walk with Elias?” He said the countdown clock will not start until he gives them the performance of the year. He started to sing a song, saying he was going to spit in the Rocky statue’s face, but was interrupted by the countdown clock.
7. Andrade “Cien” Almas
Almas came out with Zelina Vega to a pretty good pop. He also took a shot at Heath Slater on the ramp. Double knee onto Elias, then he went for a Hammerlock DDT, but Elias broke free and hit him with a clothesline.
8. Bray Wyatt
Wyatt also kicked Slater on the ramp.
9. Big E
Big E picked up Heath Slater and shoved pancakes in his mouth.
10. Tye Dillinger
Dillinger was shown being attacked by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens backstage. What a heinous attack. Zayn said, “I got this,” then he entered the match (and took out Heath Slater also).
Sami Zayn is in instead of Tye Dillinger, I guess.
11. Sheamus
Sheamus picked up Heath Slater and finally tossed him into the ring, but Slater immediately clotheslined Sheamus and eliminated him.

Bray Wyatt hit Sister Abigail on Slater, then eliminated him to loud boos from the crowd.

The crowd sang Nakamura’s theme as he took people out, then they chanted “Nakamura.” Nakamura suddenly kicked Zayn and knocked him out.

Crews and Cesaro tried to eliminate each other, and Cesaro eventually knocked him out.

Big E and Jinder then wrestled on the apron until Jinder hit him with a big boot and knocked him out.

Jinder threw Kofi Kingston over, but Xavier Woods was there and Kofi’s foot landed on him, not hitting the floor. Big E then put a plate of pancakes on the floor under his foot, then they tossed Kofi back into the ring and he eliminated Jinder.

Matt faced off with Wyatt and the crowd chanted “delete.” Rusev attacked Matt, then Wyatt and Matt Hardy double teamed Rusev and eliminated him.

Cena came out and was surrounded by everyone else in the ring, who all jumped him. Cena fought back and tossed Elias out.

The Hurricane Shane Helms… He faced off with John Cena, then grabbed him by the throat for a chokeslam, but Cena picked him up and easily tossed him out.

Cole came out to a good pop from the crowd. He had his torso bandaged up from his match last night. Finn Balor suddenly knocked Aiden English out with a kick.

Almas springboarded off the top rope but was nailed with an RKO, then tossed out.

Miz hit the Yes kicks on Cena and Rollins, then a Skull Crushing Finale on Cena, but was nailed by Rollins with a superkick.
27. Rey Mysterio
Mysterio came out to a huge pop and hit a hurricanrana on Miz. Mysterio looked great. Hurricanrana on Adam Cole, knocking him out.

28. Roman Reigns
Huge boos from the crowd. Reigns immediately went to work on Miz, then tossed Titus out.

Reigns went to throw out Miz, but the Miztourage stopped him, then Reigns hit them both with a Superman Punch. Curb Stomp by Rollins on Miz, then they did the Shield powerbomb on Miz, throwing him outside onto the Miztourage.

Reigns then grabbed Rollins and tossed him out! Rollins had a shocked look on his face.

Ziggler came out to his regular theme, with no silence. Superkick on Cena, then on Orton. Then a superkick on Goldust, knocking him out.

Zig Zag by Ziggler on Nakamura. Balor then suddenly ran at Ziggler and knocked him out.

Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, Roman Reigns, John Cena, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio were the last six left and all stood in the ring, staring each other down.
AA by Cena onto Balor. 619 by Mysterio onto Reigns. RKO by Orton onto Nakamura. Superman Punch by Reigns onto Orton, then he tossed him out.

Double 619 by Mysterio onto Cena and Reigns… but Balor threw Mysterio out out of nowhere.
Rey Mysterio was eliminated by Finn Balor
Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, John Cena and Roman Reigns were the last four and they stared each other down. Crowd chanted “Nakamura.” Cena and Reigns attacked Balor and Nakamura, then faced off with each other until Nakamura and Balor got up and attacked them. Balor and Nakamura then faced off and fought each other until Cena and Reigns got back up and clotheslined them. Reigns went for the Superman Punch on Cena, but Cena blocked it and went for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Balor hit him with a Sling Blade, and a Sling Blade onto Reigns, and onto Nakamura. He ran at Nakamura again, but Nakamura kicked him, then set up for the Kinshasa, but Balor hit him with a double stomp. Cena then grabbed Balor and tossed him out.

John Cena, Roman Reigns and Shinsuke Nakamura were the last three. Five Knuckle Shuffle by Cena on Reigns, then he went for an AA but Reigns hit a Superman Punch. Reigns went for a spear, but Cena hit him with an AA. Nakamura then placed Cena on the apron and kicked him off, eliminating him. The crowd chanted “Yes.”

Nakamura and Reigns were the last two. They exchanged punches and the crowd cheered/booed each time. Nakamura locked an armbar onto Reigns but Reigns reversed it into a powerbomb. Reigns went for a spear but Nakamura blocked it with a kick, then went for the Kinshasa, but Reigns speared him. Reigns tried to throw him out, but Nakamura blocked him, ran off the ropes and nailed him with a big knee to the face, then threw him out of the ring!

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura (~1 hour and 5 minutes)
Renee Young interviewed Nakamura in the ring and asked him if he has made his decision for who he wants to face at WrestleMania. Nakamura said, “AJ Styles” to a big pop.
Backstage: Daniel Bryan, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Kurt Angle
Daniel Bryan and Shane chanted “yes” backstage, celebrating Nakamura’s win. Angle and Stephanie said that there was still a lot left for Raw to celebrate tonight also. Stephanie said that she thinks we’re going to be pleasantly surprised…

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan (c) vs. Cesaro and Sheamus
A few minutes into the match, Jason Jordan was shoved into the ring post on the outside by Cesaro and was laid out as officials checked on him. He’s been injured, so this could be a cover for that. The crowd was really quiet, either from being drained by the Rumble or because they’ve seen some combo of this match like 60 weeks in a row on Raw. After like 10 minutes, Jason Jordan finally slowly climbed into the ring and tagged himself in, but looked dazed and confused from hitting his head on the ring post earlier. He tagged Rollins back in and climbed back out and sat down on the ring steps. Brogue Kick by Sheamus on Rollins. They then hit their finisher, the White Noise on Rollins as Cesaro jumped off the top to plant him. 1-2-3.

Universal Championship – Triple Threat Match
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman vs. Kane
Early in the match, Strowman hit a stiff knee to Lesnar’s ear, then Lesnar hit Strowman with a stiff punch to the side of the head. Lesnar went for an early F5 on Kane, but Kane escaped and hit a chokeslam. Lesnar returned a minute later and nailed Strowman with a steel chair, but he no sold it. Strowman tossed Lesnar into the barricade, then grabbed two tables and set them up in the ring, with one in the corner. Lesnar ran into the ring and hit three German suplexes in a row on Strowman, but he got right back up and powerslammed Lesnar through a table in the ring.
Strowman picked up Kane to powerslam him through the other table in the corner, but Kane escaped and shoved Strowman through the table, then hit him with a chokeslam but Lesnar broke up the pin. F5 by Lesnar on Kane, but Strowman broke it up, lifting Lesnar up off of Kane with a waistlock and German suplexing him. Strowman cleared the announce table, but Lesnar picked him up and gave him an F5 through the table. Lesnar then picked up the German announce table and totally flipped it over on top of Strowman. Kane went for a chokeslam, but Lesnar escaped and hit an F5 on Kane through the Spanish announce table.
Strowman tossed the German announce table off and stood up and stared down Lesnar. They returned to the ring and Strowman hit a running powerslam, and another on Lesnar. He went for a third but Kane nailed Strowman with a steel chair a few times, knocking him out of the ring. Kane went for a Tombstone on Lesnar, but Lesnar escaped and hit an F5 for the sudden win.
Winner: Brock Lesnar (~11 minutes)
Women’s Royal Rumble
Maria Menounos was the guest ring announcer and said she’s honored to be part of the “women’s evolution.” The crowd booed a little and she then introduced Stephanie McMahon, who joined Michael Cole and Corey Graves on commentary. Alexa Bliss then came out, followed by Charlotte Flair. They’ll be sitting in chairs at ringside.

Tamina came out and took out everyone until Lita hit her with a DDT. Twist of Fate on Sasha, then on Becky. Lita went to the top and hit a moonsault on top of Sasha and Becky. Crowd chanted “you still got it.” Tamina ran at Lita, but Lita ducked and Tamina was knocked out.

Ember Moon came out with a cast on her arm, selling her injury from her match last night at NXT. Crowd chanted “NXT.” Ember hit some cool moves on Nia. Naomi walked on the barricade, then put her feet on a chair at ringside and dragged herself back to the ring with her arms. She dived onto Nia, then was tossed out of the ring.

24. Beth Phoenix
Beth Phoenix came out and faced off with Nia. Natalya ran into the ring and she and Beth double teamed Nia, knocking her through the middle ropes. They then hugged, but Natalya turned on her and threw her out.

Asuka came out and faced off with Ember Moon. Ember nailed the Eclipse onto Asuka, but Asuka quickly recovered and knocked Ember onto the apron, then hit her injured arm and knocked her out.

Nikki got a big pop, which turned into a “John Cena sucks” chant. Nikki attacked a few people then stared down Charlotte at ringside.

“Yes” chant for Brie Bella. The Bellas went to work on everyone.
29. Bayley
30. Trish Stratus
Trish hit some offense on everyone, then faced off with Mickie James. Mickie went to the top, but was kicked and knocked out by Trish.

Nia Jax clotheslined Trish, then everyone jumped her all at once, but she tossed them all away. Asuka and Trish kicked Nia, then all of the women tossed out Nia at once.

Sasha suddenly grabbed Bayley and tossed her out.

Asuka, the Bella Twins, Natalya, Trish Stratus, and Sasha Banks were the last six in the ring. Natalya locked on a Sharpshooter on Trish, but Trish got up and was able to toss Natalya over the apron, then kicked her off.

Trish faced off with Sasha. Trish went for a bulldog off the ropes, but Sasha tossed her out.

Asuka, Sasha Banks and the Bella Twins were the final four. Asuka faced off with Sasha, but they instead decided to team up and walk towards the Bella Twins, but Sasha then turned on Asuka instead. Sasha and the Bellas triple teamed Asuka. Sasha went for her double knee stomp in the corner on Asuka, but the Bellas grabbed her and tossed her out.

Asuka nailed the Bellas with a bunch of kicks. She tossed Brie over the top, but she held onto the ropes and stood on the apron. Nikki then attacked Asuka, then turned on Brie, knocking her off the apron.

Asuka and Nikki Bella were the final two. Nikki tossed Asuka over the top, but she landed on the apron. Nikki ran at her but Asuka kicked her, then pulled her over the top, but she also landed on the apron. Nikki punched Asuka, knocking her down, but Asuka kicked Nikki’s legs while on her back and knocked Nikki out.

Winner: Asuka (~59 minutes)
After the match, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss each stood in the ring next to Asuka, holding their titles. Asuka looked at each of them, smiling, ready to make her choice.
Suddenly, Ronda Rousey entered to Joan Jett – Bad Reputation… She stood in the ring and pointed at the WrestleMania sign. She went to shake Asuka’s hand, but Asuka slapped it away. Rousey then pointed at the WrestleMania sign again and her music hit again… and she walked out of the ring.
Rousey went to Stephanie McMahon at ringside and offered a handshake. Stephanie hesitantly accepted. Ronda walked down the ramp and again pointed at the WrestleMania sign as the show ended.
