Gran Metalik & Kalisto defeated Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher by DQ

Kendrick and Gallagher warned Metalik that they have no issue with him — but by teaming with Kalisto, he has become their enemy as well. Kalisto and Kendrick started things off, then Kalisto hit some leg kicks. Metalik tagged in and kicked away at Kendrick’s arm before hitting a rope-walk crossbody. Kendrick booted Metalik and Gallagher came in, but he ate a missile dropkick off the middle rope.

The babyfaces dove on the heels on the floor. Metalik went up top, but Gallagher attacked his knee and drove his body into Metalik’s leg on the mat. Kendrick worked away on the mat with a knee and armbar. He landed a big backdrop for two and they fought up top for a superplex, but Metalik won that battle with a sloppy facebuster.

Kalisto ran wild on the heels before hitting the Salida del Sol on Gallagher, with it only getting a near fall due to a save by Kendrick. The heels double-teamed Kalisto and a big headbutt knocked him out, then he got posted and the match ended in a disqualification. The heels double-teamed Kalisto on the floor and crushed his knee between the post and the steps.

Backstage: Enzo Amore, Drew Gulak, Ariya Daivari

Enzo Amore told Gulak and Ariya Daivari that tonight, he has to do damage control because they didn’t get the job done.

Hideo Itami defeated Colin Delaney

Hideo Itami entered to dead silence. Delaney returned and ate tons of stiff kicks from Itami, who demanded respect. Itami destroyed him with a corner dropkick and ended it with a GTS.

Cedric Alexander defeated Drew Gulak

A Zo Train history package aired, showing the issues that Gulak has with Amore and the Zo Train’s beating of Tony Nese. Alexander called Amore out for beating up his own guys and using them to do his dirty work. Amore and Gulak entered, with Gulak struggling to speak due to his swollen lip, but he still cut an intense promo about how nobody messes with the Zo Train. This wasn’t his most entertaining promo in WWE, but it was his most serious.

Gulak moved Alexander back in the corner and slugged him in the jaw, then big forearms from both guys made this a more physical affair than usual. Alexander hit a big dropkick while the crowd chanted “Bobby Roode.” Gulak landed more physical chops and forearm strikes before kicking Alexander to the floor.

Gulak wore Alexander down with armbars until he recovered and flew around with a corner knee and then hit a crazy flip kick to the floor. Alexander went for a Lumbar Check, but Gulak turned it into a sunset flip for two. Alexander went for a Spanish Fly, but Gulak held onto the ropes and hit a discus lariat.

Gulak locked on an ankle lock before using an anklebar and chinlock. Alexander got the ropes and they fought over a superplex, with Alexander pulling him down into a Lumbar Check to win it. It would’ve been easy to just do 50/50 booking here, but they gave Alexander the win and it helps him build momentum for Amore.

Daivari came down and ate a Lumbar Check as well before Amore scampered away. This is how you build a babyface up.
