Ronda Rousey is finalizing a deal with WWE and her signing is imminent, USA Today says, according to “two people close to Rousey.”
That’s certainly expected, since Rousey has been training at the WWE Performance Center for a couple of months already. As of now, WWE’s plans are for a WWE vs. UFC Four Horsewomen match to happen at WrestleMania, though there have been other ideas thrown around, like Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair.
As for ever returning to the UFC, UFC president Dana White told USA Today last week: “I wouldn’t want to see it. I wouldn’t want it to happen. I care about her. She has got money… and all that stuff. I don’t want to see it happen.”
Rousey’s last UFC fight was against Amanda Nunes on December 30, 2016, where she lost via TKO in 48 seconds.
