2017 was an unforgettable year in IMPACT Wrestling. Tonight, we relive some of its greatest moments in the Best of 2017, part one!

In-Ring: Bruce Prichard, Lashley, Alberto El Patron

Bruce Prichard is in the ring and talks about how Impact Wrestling has changed. He says TNA is dead – it’s now all about Impact Wrestling. Bruce says he knows how to make Impact great and brings out the IMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, Lashley. Bruce says there’s nobody in the back who can defeat Lashley – until Alberto El Patron’s music hits! El Patron says that Lashley has never beaten him. Bruce makes a world title match between Lashley and El Patron for tonight.

IMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship
Lashley (c) vs. Alberto El Patron

El Patron brings the fight to the outside as he smashes Lashley’s head on the announce table! Lashley gains control with a big neckbreaker. Lashley sends El Patron into the steel steps on the outside. Lashley connects with a standing vertical suplex and sets up for the Spear. Lashley charges at him but El Patron counters with a quick dropkick. El Patron attempts to lock in the Cross Armbreaker but Lashley avoids it. EC3 appears and watches the match from the top of the ramp. Lashley goes for a clothesline but El Patron ducks, causing the referee to get knocked out instead! El Patron locks in the Cross Armbreaker as a new referee comes down to the ring. Lashley gets to a vertical base and slams El Patron to the mat for a near fall. El Patron hits the double knees in the corner for a near fall of his own. They go back and forth but Lashley gets the better of the exchange as he connects with a spinebuster. Lashley pulls the second referee in front of him, causing El Patron to accidentally kick him in the face. Lashley brings the title belt in the ring but gets caught with a kick from El Patron on his way in. El Patron cracks Lashley in the head with the title belt and pins him to win! Alberto El Patron is your new World Champion.

X-Division Championship
Trevor Lee (c) vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Suicide vs. Dezmond Xavier vs. Andrew Everett vs. Low Ki

The returning Low Ki is revealed as the sixth and final participant! The first competitor to score a pinfall or submission will be the X-Division champion! Lee plays to the crowd, causing all five of his opponents to hit him with in-sync dropkicks! Dutt hits a Moonsault off the top rope to take out Everett and Suicide on the outside. Everett misses a springboard, allowing Lee to connect with the running double foot stomp. Everett connects with Pele kicks to Lee and Low-Ki. Dutt hits Low Ki with a splash off the top rope for a near fall. Suicide hits the Suicide Plunge on Lee, Xavier and Dutt on the outside. Everett follows up with a huge springboard Shooting Star Press! Everett connects with Frankendrivers on both Xavier and Lee! Everett goes to the top but Low Ki knocks him off. Low Ki hits the Warrior’s Way double foot stomp on Lee to become the new X-Division champion!

Winner: Low Ki

Street Fight for IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Championship
LAX (c) vs. Decay

Abyss attempts to Chokeslam Ortiz through a table but Homicide gets involved to stop it from happening! Santana connects with a steel chair shot to the back of Abyss, followed by a kendo stick strike from Ortiz. Abyss launches Steve off the top rope and he takes out Santana and Ortiz. Abyss follows up with the double Chokeslam. Abyss throws a chair directly into the head of Ortiz. Rosemary goes to spit mist in Ortiz’s face but hits Abyss by accident! Ortiz sends Abyss into a barbed wire board in the corner as Diamante takes out Rosemary! Abyss is propped between two barbed wire boards and Santana launches himself off of Ortiz and into Abyss in the corner! Steve hits Ortiz with a driver and goes for the pin but Konnan pulls the referee out of the ring! Homicide distracts Steve, allowing LAX to send him through a table full of thumbtacks from the top rope. LAX retains the tag team championships!

X-Division Championship
Low-Ki (c) vs. Sonjay Dutt

Dutt is still wearing an eye patch after the devastating injury he suffered at the hands of Low-Ki. Dutt kicks Low-Ki off the apron and follows up with a baseball slide to the outside. Low-Ki quickly turns it around by driving Dutt into the steel guardrail. They battle amongst the fans and Dutt connects with a big Moonsault! Low-Ki slams Dutt onto the steel steps. Low-Ki goes for a springboard but Dutt counters into a side Russian Legsweep! Low-Ki climbs the ropes for Warrior’s Way but Dutt stops him and hits a huge Superplex! Dutt connects with a tornado DDT, followed by a splash from the top rope to become the new X-Division champion! The celebration begins as fans and roster members congratulate Dutt on his huge accomplishment!

Winner: Sonjay Dutt
