Aro Lucha, a new lucha libre company, taped a TV pilot today in Nashville, TN at the Nashville Fairgrounds. The company is owned by Aroluxe, which is the former production company for TNA before they were bought by Anthem.
Konnan was brought on as the head writer of the company and interestingly, they also announced that they signed Vince Russo as a “script consultant” for their show yesterday. No word on if it’s a long-term deal, since only the December 10 show was mentioned, but it was a TV pilot (that will likely be pitched to networks), so it’s their only show so far.
Want to announce the signing of @THEVinceRusso as a script consultant with @AroLucha for the Dec 10th show.. #Welcomeaboardbro
