Sasha Banks on Her Biggest Goal in WWE

During an interview earlier this month with The Hindustan Times, Sasha Banks said that her biggest goal in WWE is to headline a WrestleMania both as a personal achievement and to make more history for women’s wrestling in WWE.

“My main goal is to feature in the main event of Wrestlemania. It is the biggest dream of any WWE wrestler and although there has never been an all-woman main event, I think it is about time. We have already done great things like the Money in the Bank this year and it is my goal to create history by headlining the biggest show of the company.”

John Cena Currently Scheduled for One More Event This Year

John Cena is currently reported to be scheduled for only one more event this year for WWE, according to the Wrestling Observer.

The Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that Cena was only brought back for the night of Survivor Series and is currently not scheduled to appear at December 17th’s Clash of Champions event for the Smackdown brand. He is scheduled to make one more appearance for WWE this year at December 26th’s Madison Square Garden house show for the RAW brand.

Current Status of Lio Rush’s Backstage Heat in the WWE

As previously reported, Lio Rush’s poorly timed joke on Twitter made following Emma’s release last month resulted in serious backlash from both WWE’s management and locker room. At one point, WWE officials were considering firing Rush had he not quickly apologized.

In an update to this situation, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that Lio Rush is still dealing with this fallout and has not been used on any NXT televised shows nor house shows since this incident occurred. Meltzer also reported there are those in the company who see Rush as a potential legit star on the main roster but are not willing to build up his star power for the time being, as a punishment.

Delayed Episode of Table For 3 with Ric Flair to Air Next Week

The previously delayed Table For 3 episode featuring Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, and Sting is currently scheduled to air next Monday on the WWE Network following the end of RAW, according to PWInsider.

This episode was originally scheduled to air on August 14th before being postponed twice due to Ric Flair’s health problems at the time. WWE wanted to wait till Flair made a full recovery before scheduling a new release date for this episode.
