Drew McIntyre Update
Drew McIntyre was scheduled to get an MRI yesterday on the arm injury that he suffered at TakeOver, but as of now, there’s no word yet on the results. The belief is that he suffered a torn biceps and would require surgery, which would keep him out for several months, but there’s no confirmation yet.
The finish of the Almas vs. McIntyre match at TakeOver was the actual planned finish, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio. The DDT finish is when McIntyre injured his arm, but that was supposed to be the end of the match anyway, so it wasn’t cut short because of the injury.
Brock Lesnar Not Injured
Brock Lesnar was limping as he walked off after his match against AJ Styles at Survivor Series and was actually limping backstage after the match in order to sell an “injury,” which lead to some rumblings on the internet that he could be actually injured. However, Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that he was not actually hurt.
