Various: Triple H’s Addition to Team RAW, Indies, ROH Final Battle, More

WWE Made Decision to Replace Jason Jordan for Team RAW During the Weekend

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the official decision to replace Jason Jordan with Triple H was made during this past weekend with Jordan only finding out about it on Sunday night.

Besides the change from Jordan to Triple H for Team RAW, WWE has changed most of the original card for Survivor Series during the past two weeks with only The Miz versus Baron Corbin match and Cruiserweight championship match between Kalisto and champion Enzo remaining unchanged.


WWE News & Notes

WWE is currently expected to debut their new WWE 365 series after this Sunday’s Survivor Series on the WWE Network. Each episode will focuses on the life of a WWE wrestler over the course of a year and the debut episode will feature Kevin Owens.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that WWE is currently considering a future WWE 24 documentary to be based on RAW’s upcoming 25th anniversary. WWE is also working on a new WWE 24 documentary based on The Hardy Boyz.

WWE recently announced that the main event of next month’s Madison Square Garden house show on December 26 will be John Cena facing off against Samoa Joe. This will be the first time in Joe’s career he will main event a Madison Square Garden show.

This week’s guest trainer for WWE’s Performance Center was revealed to be former WWE tag team champion Rob Conway.


Indie Wrestling News & Notes

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced revenues for their last fiscal year (August 2016 to July 2017) was up by 20% compared to the prior fiscal year. It also was their second highest ever fiscal year in terms of gross revenue.

WrestleCircus announced they have canceled their November 18th show due to “unforeseen circumstances” and are asking for some privacy during this time. The company is currently offering refunds to those who purchased tickets for this event.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported Ring of Honor’s Marty Scurll recently filed a trademark for his wrestling name.


Updated Card for ROH’s Final Battle PPV

Ring of Honor recently updated the card for December 15th’s Final Battle event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. This will be ROH’s final PPV of 2017 and while tickets to the show are sold out, it will be available to watch via various PPV providers.

* ROH TV Championship – Punishment Martinez versus Shane Taylor versus Silas Young versus champion Kenny King.
