Earlier this month, Jennifer Hudson filed an order of protection against David Otunga after the former couple split, claiming that Otunga exhibited “aggressive, threatening and harassing behavior” against her. Otunga denied the allegations and claimed that Hudson filed “a meritless Petition for Order of Protection in an effort to gain an unfair advantage in the custody dispute” over their 8 year old son.
TMZ is now reporting that Hudson has dropped the order of protection and the couple has reached a temporary custody agreement, which will give Otunga custody of their son, David Jr., for the majority of the time, until a formal custody agreement is worked out. Hudson is currently shooting “The Voice UK” in London and will be traveling to Los Angeles often to also do “The Voice” in the US. Otunga previously claimed that he has been the primary caregiver for their son because of Hudson’s frequent travel.
