CM Punk Training for Next MMA Fight

CM Punk’s head trainer, Duke Roufus, said that CM Punk is currently training for his next pro MMA fight. Punk has not fought since his first fight, where he lost to Mickey Gall at UFC 203 on September 10, 2016.

Mark Briscoe Injured

Mark Briscoe dislocated his shoulder at the ROH Global Wars show Friday night in Pittsburgh, PA, in a match against Hiromu Takahashi.

The match was stopped after a couple of minutes when Briscoe suddenly rolled out of the ring after a few kicks by Takahashi.

The injury won’t require surgery and the elbow was popped back in, PWInsider is reporting, but he’s expected to be out for 8-10 weeks.

An Old Young Bucks TNA Match

Here’s a video of The Young Bucks’ (as “Generation Me”) impressive debut in TNA on January 14, 2010 against the Motor City Machine Guns.

After wrestling in TNA for a year and a half, the Bucks requested their release in July of 2011.

Via Wikipedia: Matt and Nick later revealed that the request stemmed from monetary issues, while also venting their frustrations with TNA’s booking, noting the storyline with Tara, which went nowhere, and the quickly aborted feud between the brothers. Matt has also stated that after leaving TNA he was ready to quit professional wrestling altogether, before he and his brother decided to instead reinvent themselves and their act.
