WWE Media News: WWE Network, Table For 3 with Flair, New DVD Sets

Upcoming New Content for WWE Network for September and October

PWInsider reported the next classic wrestling series to be added to the WWE Network soon will be WCW Thunder which originally aired from 1998 to 2001.

Season 2 of WWE’s animated series Story Time is currently set to be released after the end of Monday Night RAW on September 18th.

As previously reported, the second round of the Mae Young Classic will be released on September 4th and similar to the first round, all the episodes will be released at the same time. The Finals of the Classic will be a live event on the Network on September 12th.

WWE announced a new collection set for the Network’s Collection series will be arriving next month and focuses on Hell in a Cell. This set will be part of a Halloween theme the WWE is planning for the Network in October.

WWE Network’s Madusa Documentary Delayed

PWInsider reported plans for a new Network documentary on WWE Hall of Famer Madusa expected to air on the same week as the Mae Young Classic has been delayed to a date to be determined later. No specific reason was given for the documentary’s delay.

Current Status of Table For 3 Episode with Ric Flair

The previously delayed episode of Table For 3 featuring Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, and Sting is currently planned to air on September 11th after the end of Monday Night RAW, according to PWInsider. This episode was delayed from its original August 14th date due to Flair’s recent health issues.

2017 WWE DVD Schedule and Preview for Unreleased: 1986-1995

WWE currently has plans for nine more DVD sets to be released for the rest of this year. October will have the most sets released at five while November and December will get one new DVD set each.

The intro video for next week’s “WWE Unreleased: 1986-1995” DVD set was recently posted online by website WrestlingDVDNetwork. This set features 45 never-before-seen matches and “hidden gems” with former WWE announcer Sean Mooney and Charly Caruso as the hosts.
