WWE has been thinking about possibly using former WCW PPV names for upcoming events “in the near future,” according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.
WWE began using the “Clash of Champions” PPV name last year, replacing “Night of Champions,” and the December 17 SmackDown PPV this year will also be called Clash of Champions.
“The Great American Bash” name was last used in 2008.
This year’s PPVs have already been scheduled and named, so if it does happen, it would either be next year or it could be a WWE Network “special.” Halloween is coming up, so I guess Halloween Havoc could be a possibility.
