Current Card for ROH’s Death Before Dishonor PPV Event
Ring of Honor recently revealed the updated card for their upcoming Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event on September 23rd in Las Vegas, Nevada.
* ROH Championship match – Minoru Suzuki vs. champion Cody Rhodes.
* ROH TV Championship – Kenny King vs. champion KUSHIDA
* The Kingdom vs. Bully Ray & The Briscoes with the winners getting a title shot for the ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship later in the night. Current Six Man Tag champions are The Young Bucks and Hangman Page.
* Las Vegas Street Fight – Jay White vs. Punishment Martinez.
* Jay Lethal vs. Silas Young.
Besides traditional PPV carriers, the Fite App will also carry the event and is currently offering $10 in credit for pre-ordering the show.
Current Status of Billy Corgan’s Purchase of NWA
As previously reported, Billy Corgan has been attempting to purchase the NWA to become their new owner with several delays preventing an official announcement being made by Corgan and the NWA.
In an update on the status of NWA’s ownership, PWInsider reported Corgan is the official new owner of the company but is waiting till current licensing agreements with partner companies expires this October before starting his tenure with the NWA. Corgan is also currently busy preparing for an upcoming musical tour.

WWE recently revealed this week’s episode of “Flashback Friday” on the WWE Network will focus on the history of WCW Nitro. The episodes for this set includes the debut of Nitro, a WWE Countdown episode focusing on Eric Bischoff, and a documentary focusing on Ted Turner.

WWE Did You Know – Kazuchika Okada’s and The Miz’s Road to Records
In a “WWE Did You Know” type fact, Kazuchika Okada recently surpassed The Great Muta to become the second longest reigning IWGP Heavyweight champion in NJPW history. Okada has been an IWGP champion for a combined 1,239 days while Hiroshi Tanahashi currently holds the NJPW all-time record at 1,358 combined days from his seven reigns as champion.
In another “WWE Did You Know” type fact, The Miz recently passed both Razor Ramon and Tito Santana to become the fourth longest reigning Intercontinental champion in WWE history. The Miz has been an Intercontinental champion for a combined 448 days while Pedro Morales currently holds the WWE all-time record at 619 combined days from his two reigns as champion.
