SummerSlam Kickoff Show Rumors
The Hardy Boyz vs. Revival match that was expected for SummerSlam will probably be changed to the Hardys vs. Gallows and Anderson. PWInsider says that as of now, that would be expected to air on the SummerSlam Kickoff Show, with The New Day vs. The Usos also expected to be part of the Kickoff Show. However, of course, plans could change. It seems like the Cruiserweight match could get Kickoff Show duty also, as it often does.
The SummerSlam Kickoff Show will start at 5 PM ET and will run for 2 hours, with the main card starting at 7 PM ET, which means the show will be 6 hours long (probably even longer).
Last year’s SummerSlam had 3 kickoff show matches and 9 main card matches. The 3 kickoff show matches were:
– American Alpha, The Hype Bros, and The Usos defeated Breezango, The Ascension, and The Vaudevillains
– Sami Zayn and Neville defeated The Dudley Boyz
– Sheamus defeated Cesaro
