News & Notes: Debunked Paige News, WCPW Loaded Series, Kofi Record

Reports of Paige Issued an Arrest Warrant Debunked

The state attorney of Florida recently debunked reports of Orlando police issuing an arrest warrant to Paige in regards to recent domestic violence incident between her and Alberto El Patron.

According to Reddit’s SquaredCircle board, the source of the report is from a website called Pro Wrestling Times. WrestlingInc reported the author of the fake report is a known wrestling website troll due to the person’s past history of trying to send fake news articles for them to publish.

WCPW to Resume Their “Loaded” Series Next Month

In recent months, What Culture Pro Wrestling and other wrestling companies have been negatively affected by changes made by Youtube to their ad revenue system. One of the biggest changes involved wrestling being blacklisted for ad revenues which caused WCPW to cancel their free weekly “Loaded” shows on Youtube due to lack of ad funds.

In a recent update on the situation, WCPW announced they are resuming their weekly “Loaded” series starting on August 3rd for their subscription service while Youtube will get the weekly shows starting on August 5th. WCPW did clarify they are still affected by the rules against earning ad revenues on Youtube since those rules haven’t been changed.

WWE Did You Know – Kofi Sets Another Record in the WWE

As previously reported, Kofi Kingston set a new record in the WWE at last Sunday’s Battlegrounds by becoming the first person to win every major tag team championship in WWE history.

In a “WWE Did You Know” type fact, Kofi also managed to set another record by becoming the most decorated champion in WWE history without winning the WWE, World, or ECW championship. Kofi currently has won 13 championships in the WWE ((4x IC, 3x US, 4x Raw Tag, 1x SD Tag, 1x WWE Tag). Kofi would be tied with Matt Hardy (1x ECW, 1x US, 1x Euro, 1x Cruiser, 2x Raw Tag, 6x WWE Tag, 1x WCW Tag) for most decorated in WWE history if the ECW championship is excluded as a major title.

The record does not include WWE’s Hardcore Championship as a major title due to the unique nature of the title and its very low tier status while it was active.
