News & Notes: Ambrose, HHH’s Birthday, Jeff Hardy, GFW Cancels Event

Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose was interviewed by The Fayetteville Observer and talked about his body feeling beat up and not remembering ever waking up and feeling good.

For better or worse, Dean Ambrose has been on the road since late adolescence, sacrificing his body in the ring on a near nightly basis for the sake of the show.

The World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler with the kamikaze-like ring reputation is now what he calls “a very old 31 years old,” and he said he can’t ever remember waking up in the morning and feeling good.

Instead, he said, “I feel like crap. But everything is OK.”

“Yeah, I’ve been doing this since — basically, I’ve been on the road since I was 18,” he said in a phone interview from a pro wrestling date in Texas. “I don’t know any other way. I tend to get squirrelly. After a few days in a hotel, I’ve got to move on. I’m just a nomad moving from town to town. That’s all I know. I enjoy it. I get to see the world. Travel to every city of the world, from Fayetteville to New York City.”

Triple H’s Birthday

Today, July 27, is Triple H’s 48th birthday. It’s also Dolph Ziggler’s 37th birthday.

“How Jeff Hardy’s tattoos tell the story of his personal demons: Superstar Ink”

In a candid interview with Corey Graves, Jeff Hardy tells all about his tattoos, including a pair of twin demons tearing out of his neck and an intricate root system that runs along the upper right half of his body.
