In-Ring: Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman
Roman Reigns’ music hits, and he makes his way to the ring to kick off the show. The crowd loudly boos him after JoJo introduces him. Footage is shown of Braun Strowman returning last week to attack Reigns. Reigns will face Strowman in an Ambulance Match at WWE Great Balls of Fire. Reigns stands in the ring, and a loud “We want Strowman” chant picks up. Reigns says he’ll call it like it is. The crowd loudly boos him. Reigns says if they give him a minute, they might like it. Last week on RAW, Samoa Joe finally put him in the Coquina Clutch. When he was done, Braun Strowman returned. Strowman came out like a coward and picked the bones before challenging him to an Ambulance Match at Great Balls of Fire. He’s been in a lot of different matches with all stipulations, but not an Ambulance Match. Reigns accepted the challenge. Reigns was Strowman to understand that he’s going to put him in the back of the ambulance, get in the driver’s seat, and take him straight to hell because this is his yard. The crowd boos that.
The sound of an ambulance siren is heard. An ambulance backs into the arena. Reigns gets out of the ring and starts to walk up the ramp toward it. Reigns cautiously walks up to the ambulance and opens the back, but it’s empty. Braun Strowman comes around the corner and blindsides Reigns. Strowman throws him onto the stage. Reigns punches back at Strowman. Strowman teeters near the edge of the stage. Strowman avoids a Superman Punch and throws Reigns off the stage into the ambulance! Strowman closes the door and pounds on the back of the ambulance. The ambulance drives away while Strowman raises his arms in victory.
Sheamus and Cesaro and Elias Samson vs. The Hardy Boyz and Finn Bálor
Elias Samson is in the ring with Sheamus and Cesaro. Samson strums a chord and greets the crowd. Under normal circumstances, he’s a solo act. However, under the bright city lights of Los Angeles, he figured he’d form a trio. Samson starts strumming some chords, but he’s interrupted by The Hardy Boyz. Sheamus and Cesaro are furious over their big musical break being thwarted.
A “DELETE” chant fires up. Matt Hardy will start the match against Sheamus. They lock up, and Sheamus knees him in the midsection before punching him to the corner. Sheamus uppercuts him and sends him into the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Jeff Hardy is tagged in. They whip Sheamus into the corenr. Jeff dropkicks Cesaro off the apron and hits Sheamus with Poetry in Motion. Cesaro runs in, and they hit him with a double suplex. Elias Samson runs in, but he quickly gets out of the ring before Bálor punches him. The Hardys and Bálor pose for the crowd while we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to see Jeff down in the corner. Cesaro tags in, but Jeff soon makes a tag to Bálor. Bálor stomps away at Cesaro before sending him into the ropes. Cesaro tries for a sunset flip, but Bálor rolls through and kicks him. Josh Duhamel the commentary booth. He’s an actor in the new Transformers movie. Sheamus tags in and clubs away at Bálor’s chest. Cesaro tags in and stomps him. Samson tags in and kicks Bálor in the midsection before delivering a forearm to his jaw. Samson punches him to the corner. Bálor fights out and punches away at Samson. Sheamus blind tags in and attacks Bálor. Sheamus hits a powerslam for a two count. Sheamus gets Bálor in a modified torture rack, but Bálor fights out and tags in Jeff. Jeff punches away at Sheamus before having a whip reversed, but he clotheslines him down. Jeff hits an inverted atomic drop followed by a double leg to the midsection. Sheamus kicks out at two. Jeff tries for a Twist of Fate, but Sheamus shoves him off. Jeff sidesteps a shoulder, and Sheamus hits the ring post shoulder-first. Jeff goes to the top rope, but Cesaro pulls Sheamus out of the ring. Jeff then leaps to the floor onto Sheamus and Cesaro. Jeff gets in the ring, but Samson grabs his leg. Sheamus knees Jeff in the face while he gets in the ring and covers, but Jeff gets his foot on the bottom rope.
We come back from the break to see Samson clothesline Jeff down before attacking Bálor on the apron. Sheamus is tagged in, and he puts Jeff in an overhead wristlock. Sheamus hits him with an Irish Curse Backbreaker for a two count. Cesaro tags in and hits an axe handle off the top rope for a two count. Cesaro applies a front facelock, but Jeff fights up. Cesaro quickly boots Bálor off the apron and tags in Sheamus. Jeff quickly takes Sheamus out with a mule kick. My screen is completely unwatchable as there is a problem with the USA Network. Matt tags in and makes a comeback on Samson. Samson quickly sends Matt into the steel post and tags in Sheamus. Cesaro tags in, and they hit a double-team White Noise, but Bálor breaks it up. Cesaro is furious. Matt hits him with a jawbreaker. Bálor tags in, and he takes Cesaro down before knocking Samson off the apron. Bálor then gets on the apron and hits a running kick to the face. Bálor knocks Sheamus out of the ring. Bálor hits the ropes and connects with a summersault senton on Sheamus and Cesaro. Bálor gets Cesaro in the ring and dropkicks him into the corner. Bálor goes to the top rope. Matt pulls Sheamus off the apron and hits a Twist of Fate on the floor. Jeff then hits a diving clothesline off the apron onto Samson to stop him from interfering. Bálor then hits Cesaro with the Coup de Grâce for the win.
Winners by Pinfall: The Hardy Boyz and Finn Bálor
Goldust vs. R-Truth
Goldust makes his entrance in an old school body suit along with his own personal camera operator. R-Truth makes his entrance, and Goldust stands behind the camera operator. Goldust then blindsides him with a right hand and viciously attacks him. The match never got underway.
Backstage: Paul Heyman and Samoa Joe
Charly Caruso is backstage with Paul Heyman. Heyman says his client is here to challenge Joe to a fight. Joe comes from behind and wraps his arm around Heyman’s neck. Joe then lets go. Heyman insists that he’s just an advocate. Joe says the Coquina Clutch is meant for his client, not for him.
In-Ring: Miz TV with Special Guests The Ball Family
The Miz is in the ring with his wife. The Miz says he’s very happy in his adopted hometown. Miz has an announcement that will change the WWE Universe forever. Just like how he called his shot at Extreme Rules and took his title back, his guest called his shot at the NBA Draft. Miz then introduces LaVar and LaMelo Ball. LaVar Ball comes out and tries sliding into the ring, but fails. LaVar says he has one more for The Miz. The crowd is booing him. LaVar then introduces his son, the new face of the Lakers, Lonzo Ball.
Miz congratulates Lonzo. Lonzo says he’s happy to be in the Staples Center as a Laker for the first time. Miz says LaVar said Lonzo was destined to be a Laker, and he is. Miz says it’s an honor to sit in the ring with them. The Miz and Big Baller Brand is a dream partnership. LaVar says they’re not here for a partnership. Miz thought they were here to announce a partnership with a WWE Superstar. LaVar says he’s too low for them right now. Miz says he’s a proven champion. Miz says he’s the Michael Jordan of WWE. Miz says LaVar does a lot of talking. LaVar tells him to stay in his own lane or the hurt is on. Miz takes off his jacket, and LaVar takes off his shirt.
Dean Ambrose comes out to the stage wearing a Big Baller Brand shirt. Ambrose says no one has bigger balls than him. Plus, he likes free t-shirts.
Dean Ambrose, Heath Slater and Rhyno vs. The Miz, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel
Ambrose scares Miz out of the ring and Bo Dallas gets in. Dallas boots Ambrose back and tags in Miz. Ambrose makes a comeback, and Miz quickly tags in Curtis Axel. Ambrose chops him and tags in Heath Slater. Slater hits an axe handle on Axel’s arm and works the arm. Rhyno tags in. They send Axel into the ropes for a double-team back elbow. Axel makes a comeback, and Miz tags in. Miz punches away at Rhyno before chopping the chest a few times. Rhyno fights back and puts him in the corner for some chops. Miz reverses a whip to the opposite corner and sends him there hard. Miz punches away at him and tags in Dallas. Dallas stomps away at Rhyno. Axel tags in and stomps him as well. Rhyno fights back against Axel, but Axel cuts him off and sends him to the corner. Axel runs into a back elbow. Rhyno then explodes out of the corner with a clothesline.
Ambrose tags in, and he hits a pair of clotheslines before having a whip reversed and connecting with a third clothesline. Miz runs in, and Ambrose hits him with a spinning neckbreaker. Ambrose hits Axel with a bulldog while giving Miz a clothesline. Slater and Rhyno get Axel and Dallas out of the ring. Ambrose then throws Miz over the top rope onto Dallas and Axel.
We come back from the break to see Slater trapped in a hammerlock applied by Axel. Slater fights up. During the commercial, Dallas blindsided Slater. Axel takes Slater down for a two count. Axel punches him to his corner and tags in Dallas. Dallas clotheslines him in the corner and sends him into Axel’s knee. Miz tags in, and he starts the Daniel Bryan kicks. Miz taunts Ambrose and goes for a roundhouse kick on Slater, but he ducks and hits a flapjack. Miz quickly tags in Dallas, who stops Slater from making a tag. Dallas clubs away at him and tags in Axel. Dallas hits a snapmare and a rolling neck snapper. Slater punches back at him, but Axel knees him in the midsection. Slater then comes back with a neckbreaker. Miz tags in, and he knocks Ambrose off the apron. Slater then takes him down with a kick to the face.
Rhyno and Dallas tag in. Rhyno punches away at Dallas and pins him, but it’s broken up. Axel punches Rhyno, and Dallas rolls him up for the win. Ambrose was too busy attacking Miz at ringside.

In-Ring: Enzo Amore and Big Cass
Enzo Amore makes his entrance to a nice reception. Enzo goes through his usual shtick minus the part about Big Cass. Enzo gets in the ring and gets the crowd going. Enzo says if they want to know how he’s doing, it’s not too good. This isn’t about him. This is about the realest guys – plural – in the room. Enzo takes off his black jacket and shows an Enzo and Cass t-shirt. Enzo says he’s tried so hard this week to get in touch with Big Cass, but he can’t. Enzo says he knows he’s done some stupid things. It isn’t the first or last time. Enzo says they need to talk man-to-man right now. He’ll stay in the ring all night if he has to.
Big Cass makes his way to the ring with a black t-shirt. Cass gets in the ring and listens to the crowd booing him. Cass has a smug look on his face. Enzo says he knows Cass hears that reaction. Enzo says that reaction hurts Cass. It hurts him because he knows Cass better than anyone in the world. That reaction hurts Cass like Cass hurts him. Words cut deep. Cass hurt him… and he was right about a lot of those things. Enzo knows he’s not the biggest guy in the world. He has the biggest mouth in the world that can bite off more than he can chew. That was ok because he had Cass. Cass is his brother. Last week, Cass broke his heart and almost broke his face, but Cass is his brother. Enzo doesn’t want to break that bond. Forget the crowd, wrestling, and WWE. Cass is his brother for life. Enzo had so much pride when Cass hit the gas. That journey isn’t over. What Cass did to him is in the past. Last week, Enzo saw passion in Cass’ eyes. Enzo wants to focus on the future of his family. Enzo refuses to let him break that bond before they become WWE Tag Team Champions.
Cass approaches him and takes the microphone from him. Cass says Enzo just never knows when to shut up. Cass looks sad and says he has to be honest. After what he did last week, he’s never been so ashamed in his life. Yes, Enzo is annoying, loud, and runs his mouth. Cass accepts Enzo for who he is. He won’t change Enzo, and Enzo would change him. They’re brothers. Cass says, “So in front of the world, I want to say to my brother, ‘I’m sorry.’” Cass is sorry for everything he’s done and said in the past five weeks. Cass asks him to accept his apology and extends his hand. Enzo looks on the verge of tears. They finally shake hands. Cass then hugs Enzo. Enzo has tears in his eyes. Cass says if anyone thought they’d throw away their bond for this whole ordeal, then he has one word to describe them: S-A-W-F-T! They celebrate and leave the ring. They pose on the ramp, and Cass hits a short-arm clothesline on him. Cass yells at the crowd while they boo him. Cass stands over Enzo and talks some trash. Cass then military presses him above his head and throws him down the ramp!
Segment: Corey Graves, Big Cass, Kurt Angle
The commentators are talking when Big Cass comes out to confront Corey Graves. Cass says he should smack the tattoos off his face, but Kurt Angle says he can’t touch him. Cass doesn’t know what Graves has on Angle, but it must be good. Cass then walks off.
Curt Hawkins vs. Seth Rollins
Before the match begins, Hawkins asks who thinks he’s about to lose this match. The crowd loudly cheers. Hawkins asks who thinks he’ll lose the match, and they boo. Hawkins says we’ll just have to find out.
The bell rings, and Hawkins punches away at Rollins. Hawkins sends him into the ropes and connects with a clothesline for a one count. Hawkins continues by punching away at him before telling the crowd to face the facts. Hawkins hits a back suplex for a one count. Hawkins knees him in the spine before slamming him into the turnbuckle. Hawkins connects with a textbook suplex for a one count. Hawkins applies a modified cobra clutch, but Rollins fights up and punches out. Rollins hits the ropes, but Hawkins gets out of the ring. Hawkins gets on the apron, and Rollins kicks him to the floor. Rollins wipes him out with a suicide dive before putting him in the ring for a Sling Blade. Rollins kicks him back and hits a blockbuster. Rollins hits a springboard clothesline and poses for the crowd. Hawkins blocks a kick and rolls him up, but Rollins rolls through and kicks him. Rollins then hits the knee to the face for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: Seth Rollins
Bray Wyatt immediately appears on the screen. Wyatt says Rollins carries a corporate flag and tells them to be like no one, but he blindly leads these ignorant people to a place of no return. Wyatt tells him to give into his true self. Wyatt will help him along and save him. Rollins should be honored because he will be cleansed by the flame of a true god. Wyatt tells him to be careful what he thinks and wishes for because he’s inside his mind. July 9 will be the date of his reclamation. Wyatt tells Rollins to give into his true self or he will burn.
In-Ring: Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe
Paul Heyman is backstage when an SUV drives up. Brock Lesnar steps out. He’ll be out, next.
Back live, Paul Heyman is in the ring and greets the crowd as the advocate for Brock Lesnar. Samoa Joe is the exception to the rule of everyone fearing Lesnar. Samoa Joe doesn’t fear Brock Lesnar. Joe stepped into the ring and pulled a cheap shot on Lesnar. If he wanted to start a fight in the locker room, he’d do a cheap shot because he knows everyone will pile on top of them and separate them. Joe did a cheap shot and had the roster pull them apart. Then Joe did a second cheap shot by kicking him in the face. Joe remains fearless. It isn’t impressive to him. It just means Samoa Joe is a Samoan Dumbass. Samoa Joe isn’t burdened with great intelligence like him, but it takes a smart man to know when to start fearing. Now is the time to start fearing Brock Lesnar. While they’ve all enjoyed the anticipation, the bathroom break is over. Hit record because this is the moment they’ll be talking about tomorrow. Heyman is here to introduce the beast and conqueror who will call Samoa Joe out to this ring for a fight tonight. Heyman then introduces Brock Lesnar.
Brock Lesnar’s music hits, and the WWE Universal Champion makes his way to the ring. Samoa Joe attacks him from behind and locks in the Coquina Clutch! Lesnar goes down to a knee, but he fights it. Lesnar drives him into the LED stage and dents it. Lesnar does it a second time, and the dent grows larger. Joe then reapplies the Coquina Clutch and gets him down to a knee. Lesnar’s face is beet red. Referees are out to try to stop this, but they don’t step up. The Revival and Heath Slater run out to pull him off. Samoa Joe screams that he did that to Lesnar and he’ll go out again. A loud “Let them fight” chant fires up. Lesnar is down on the ground looking stunned.
Cruiserweight Match
Lince Dorado vs. Neville
Akira Tozawa is seated ringside in a nice suit. The bell rings, and they take their time before Neville kicks him. Neville puts him in the corner and chokes him with his boot. Neville whips him hard into the corner and taunts the crowd. Neville puts him back in the corner and slams his face off the turnbuckle. Dorado finally blocks it and tries to fight back, but Neville takes him down with a headlock. Dorado fights up and elbows out before chopping the chest. Neville kicks him in the midsection before hitting the ropes. Dorado dropkicks him to the apron and knocks him to the floor. Dorado hits a suicide dive summersault senton before putting him in the ring for a cross-body block to pick up a two count. Neville twists the mask and kicks away at him before dropkicking him in the face. Neville then applies the Rings of Saturn for the win. Neville was staring at Tozawa the whole time. Tozawa looks unimpressed.
Winner by Submission: Neville
Tozawa takes off his jacket and removes his tie. Tozawa gets in the ring, but Titus O’Neil’s music hits. O’Neil comes out to the stage. O’Neil asks why they would fight for free when he just finalized a match with them at Great Balls of Fire. We’ll find out soon if the Neville level has anything on the power of Tozawa. Tozawa talks a little trash while Neville backs up.
Backstage Interview: Paul Heyman
Paul Heyman is angrily walking backstage when Charly Caruso stops him for a reaction to what happened tonight with Samoa Joe. Heyman says everything he said about Samoa Joe is true. Samoans are trained to attacked head on, but Joe sneaks up on his client to apply the Coquina Clutch. As a promotor, he’s loving every minute of this. Brock Lesnar has his back against the roll. This won’t be a quick fight. It’ll be a brutal fight. When it happens, Brock Lesnar will finally take Samoa Joe to Suplex City and give him an F-5. Joe will wake up and not believe how it’s really like to face the beast. Goodness gracious – great balls of fire!

Nia Jax is walking backstage when Alexa Bliss asks her what number she got for tonight’s gauntlet match. Bliss says they’re very similar. She got a lot of grief over how she looked, just like how she’s sure Nia got grief. They’re both judged on how they look. It’s not right. It’s not easy being judged. Whether Nia goes out first or last, she just wants Jax to know there’s not a single woman that can drag her down. Bliss wishes her luck, even though she doesn’t need it. Jax says she doesn’t need it and will see Bliss at Great Balls of Fire.
Gauntlet Match
Bayley vs. Nia Jax
The bell rings, and Jax talks trash before shoving her. Bayley stomps the foot and tries for some forearms, but Jax doesn’t go down. Finally, Jax scoops her up and hits snake eyes on the turnbuckle. Jax then clotheslines her down before shouldering her in the corner. Jax mocks her and continues to attack her before stretching her out on the ropes. Jax shoulders her in the corner, but Bayley soon sidesteps her and knees her in the face. Bayley goes to the top rope and hits an elbow drop to the back of the neck for a near fall. Bayley kicks away at her and works on the leg. Jax eventually kicks her back to the turnbuckle. Bayley goes to the top rope, but Jax crotches her up there. Jax hits the Samoan Drop for the win. Bayley is eliminated.
Nia Jax vs. Mickie James
We join this match in progress to see Jax dominating James. Jax applies a bear hug. James gets out and tries for a sunset flip, but Jax doesn’t go down. Jax pulls her up by the hair and reapplies the bear hug. James tries to fight back, but Jax catches her sliding through her legs. James counters with a dropkick and kicks away at her. Jax blocks a whip and sends her to the corner. James kicks her back and goes to the top rope. James takes her down with a Thesz Press for a two count. James connects with a Mick Kick and goes for a spike DDT, but Jax throws her off. Jax avalanches her and eliminates her.
Nia Jax vs. Dana Brooke
Brooke shoves her, but Jax doesn’t go far. Jax sends her to the corner, but she misses an avalanche. Brooke goes for a handspring back elbow, but Jax shoves her down. Jax drops a leg to eliminate her.
Nia Jax vs. Emma
Emma gets in the ring and gets right out. Jax grabs her by the hair, but Emma snaps her off the top rope. Emma takes her down and dropkicks her in the face for a two count. Emma goes to the top rope and goes for a cross-body, but Jax catches her and connects with a Samoan Drop to eliminate Emma by pinfall.
Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks
Banks punches away at her, but Jax shoves her back. Banks hits a jawbreaker and slaps her in the face. Banks pulls the ropes down to get her out of the ring. Banks goes for a suicide dive, but Jax catches her and tries for a Samoan Drop on the floor, but Banks slides off. Banks sends her into the ring post before coming off the apron with they flying double knees. Jax slings Banks out of the ring as she tried to fight up. Jax puts her in the corner, but Banks boots her back and attacks her with double knees in the corner. Jax soon grabs her, but Banks fights out and hits the rope. Jax then viciously avalanches her down for a two count. Jax tosses her out of the ring and looks for a count-out, but Banks gets back in. Banks tries to fight her, but Jax takes her down and steps on her. Jax mocks Banks’ taunt and kicks her around. Jax hits a scoop slam followed by an elbow drop for a two count. Jax then tosses Banks out of the ring again. Banks gets on the apron and snaps her off the top rope. Banks punches her back and hits the ropes, but Jax clotheslines her down. Jax hits a running knee to the face, and Banks is down on the mat. Jax stretches her out on the ropes before stomping her. Finally, Jax pulls her to the center of the ring for a near fall. Jax head-butts her a few times before dropping a leg on her knee. Banks clutches her knee in pain. Jax then rolls her out of the ring again. Banks gets back in the ring, and Jax applies a bear hug. While holding her in the bear hug, she lays Banks’ shoulders on the mat for a two count. Jax then pulls her back up to reapply the bear hug. Banks then transitions into a guillotine choke. Jax counters out with a big vertical suplex for a two count. Jax goes for another suplex, but Banks tries to block it. Finally, Banks flips through a suplex and goes for a roll-up. Jax doesn’t go down and tries for a leg drop, but Banks rolls out of the way. Banks hits a running knee to the face, and they’re both down. Banks goes for a head-scissor and transitions into a Bank Statement attempt, but Jax doesn’t go down. Jax throws her off and connects with a Samoan Drop. Banks quickly rolls to the apron and knees her in the head when Jax goes to grab her. Jax grabs her by the hair and slings her around. Jax goes for a Samoan Drop, but Banks counters into a guillotine attempt. Finally, Banks gets her down on her knees in a bizarre looking Bank Statement. Jax taps out.
Winner by Submission: Sasha Banks
Sasha Banks is the #1 Contender for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship at WWE Great Balls of Fire. Kurt Angle’s music hits, and the RAW General Manager comes out to raise Banks’ arm. Angle claps for her while her music plays. Alexa Bliss’ music then hits, and the WWE RAW Women’s Champion makes her way to the ring. Bliss gets in the ring and raises up her title. Banks dropkicks her out of the ring. Bliss grabs her title and angrily stares at her.
