“Reborn” Matt Sydal vs. Eddie Edwards w/ Alisha

We kick off tonight’s show with IMPACT! Wrestling newcomer, Matt Sydal as he takes on a tough opponent in Eddie Edwards! Sydal is perched on the top rope. Edwards goes to throw him off but Sydal counters into a head scissors!Sydal connects with a big running kick in the corner. Edwards hits the Blue Thunder Bomb on Sydal. Sydal hits Edwards with a spinning heel kick, followed by a standing Moonsault for a near fall. Sydal connects with a huge top rope Hurricanrana! Sydal attempts a springboard but Edwards counters with a kick. Edwards follows up with a suicide dive to the outside! Sydal attempts another Hurricanrana off the top rope but Edwards avoids it, sending Sydal crashing to the mat! Sydal connects with his signature Shooting Star Press to pick up the win. After the match, Sydal and Edwards shake hands in a show of respect.

Winner: Matt Sydal

On their way up the ramp, Davey Richards and Angelina Love attack Edwards and Alisha! Richards assaults Edwards with a steel chair but Alisha comes to his aid by launching herself off the stage, onto Richards and Love!

Backstage: Magnus and Matt Morgan

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews GFW World Heavyweight Champion Magnus, who declares he will defeat Alberto El Patron next week and go on to face the IMPACT! Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion at Slammiversary. Matt Morgan interrupts and Bruce Prichard makes a GFW World Title match between the two – tonight!

KM gets into an altercation with a janitor after purposely throwing garbage on the floor!

Christina Von Eerie (c) vs. Sienna w/ KM – GFW Women’s Championship

Sienna dumps Von Eerie over the top rope and she crashes to the floor below. Von Eerie hits Sienna with a springboard crossbody on the outside. Von Eerie attempts a Pedigree on the apron but Sienna counters it with a backdrop on the hardest part of the ring. Sienna hits the Silencer to become the NEW GFW Women’s Champion!

Winner: Sienna – New GFW Women’s Champion

Backstage: Eli Drake and Alberto El Patron

Eli Drake approaches Bruce Prichard in the backstage area. Drake gives him an ultimatum – either give him a match with Alberto El Patron or he’ll go find him! El Patron is standing behind him and accepts his challenge but Prichard raises the stakes – El Patron’s spot in next week’s GFW World Title match is on the line!

Jeremy Borash is seen amongst the fans as he joins them in poking fun at Josh Mathews!

Backstage: Karen Jarrett and Sienna

McKenzie Mitchell interviews Karen Jarrett. She announces that Alisha will make her IMPACT! Wrestling in-ring debut against Angelina Love next week. Sienna confronts Karen after just winning the GFW Women’s Title. Karen tells her she has a target on her back – Sienna says line them up and she will knock them down!

EC3 vs. John Boland

EC3 hits Boland with a splash in the corner, followed by the TK3. EC3 connects with the One Percenter to win in convincing fashion.

Winner: EC3

After the match, EC3 tells the new IMPACT! Wrestling regime to be accountable for the hell they’ve unleashed – the new EC3! He says no one, including James Storm, is going to stop him from becoming the new IMPACT! Wrestling World Champion at Slammiversary.

Magnus (c) vs. Matt Morgan – GFW Global Championship

Morgan goes for the Carbon footprint but Magnus avoids it and begins to target Morgan’s legs. Morgan fights back with a flurry of clotheslines, followed by his signature elbow shots in the corner. Magnus jumps off the top rope but Morgan catches him in mid-air and successfully hits the Chokeslam! Morgan goes for the pin but Magnus gets his foot on the rope. Morgan connects with the Carbon Footprint but the momentum sends Magnus to the outside of the ring. Morgan tries to recuperate his leg as Magnus grabs the GFW title belt. The referee takes it away but Magnus takes advantage of the distraction by hitting a low blow, followed by an elbow drop from the top rope to win.

Winner: Magnus

Backstage: Lashley

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews the IMPACT! Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Lashley. He says that even though GFW is now here in IMPACT! Wrestling, his title is still the most prestigious.

JB continues to instigate Josh Mathews at ringside by holding up “#FREEJB” signs.

Segment: LAX

At LAX’s hideout, the team sarcastically takes a moment of silence after defeating Decay in a street fight last week. Konnan implies that next week, they’re going to hold a funeral for the former tag team champs!

We see a video package on Spud who was hospitalized after a brutal attack with a hammer by Swoggle.

Kongo Kong w/ Laurel Van Ness vs. William Weeks

Before the match gets underway, Laurel Van Ness expresses interest in Weeks but he turns her down. Laurel instructs Kong to go on the attack! Kong hits Weeks with multiple Chokeslam backbreakers, followed by a splash from the top rope to win.

Winner: Kongo Kong

After the match, Braxton Sutter and Allie come down to ringside. Sutter brings the fight to Kong and takes him over the top rope with a clothesline!

We see a video package on Sonjay Dutt’s eye injury that he received at the hands of X-Division Champion Low-Ki.

Alberto El Patron vs. Eli Drake w/ Tyrus – Winner Faces Magnus for GFW Global Championship

Drake tries to retreat as soon as the match begins but El Patron chases him up the ramp! Tyrus gets involved but the referee notices and ejects him from ringside! Drake hits El Patron with a suplex on the ramp. El Patron connects with a suicide dive that sends Drake crashing into the steel guardrail. Drake hits El Patron with a high back suplex on the apron. El Patron locks in the Cross Armbreaker on the ropes but is forced to break it at the count of five. Drake is perched on the second rope but gets caught with an Enzuigiri from El Patron! Drake is stuck in the Tree of Woe but is still able to throw El Patron off the top rope! Drake follows up with a springboard Moonsault for a near fall! El Patron connects with the Double Foot Stomp to pick up the victory.

Winner: Alberto El Patron
