Backstage: Production Meeting

IMPACT! Wrestling opens with a peak inside the production meeting. Josh Mathews and Bruce Prichard are arguing when Karen Jarrett walks in. She says one of them needs to tell Sienna to meet her in the ring. Jeremy Borash suggests that Josh Mathews be replaced by his wife, Madison Rayne at the announce desk. The two continue to argue until the meeting is adjourned

In-Ring Segment: Karen Jarrett

Karen Jarrett is in the ring to address Sienna’s bullying of the Knockout’s division. Karen says she’s only heard bad things about Sienna since returning to IMPACT! Wrestling. Sienna suggests that Allie was the one who told Karen these things. Sienna says she got to where she is because of her own ability, not because who she married. Karen tells Sienna she has 15 seconds to apologize when a mystery man interrupts. He introduces himself as Sienna’s cousin, KM and demands that Karen shows respect to his family. KM tells Karen that she now has 15 seconds to apologize when Braxton Sutter and Allie come to the ring. Sutter attacks KM, causing him to retreat. Karen announces a match between KM and Braxton Sutter for later tonight!

DJZ vs. Andrew Everett – X-Division Match

After a series of stalemates, DJZ sends Everett outside the ring and launches himself over the top rope to take him out. DJZ hits Everett with a big crossbody off the top rope for a near fall. Everett attempts a Moonsault off the top rope but DJZ gets his feet up. DJZ goes for the ZDT but Everett counters it into a rollup to win!

After the match, Gregory Shane Helms and Trevor Lee interrupt. Helms sarcastically congratulates Everett on his win but tells him he will have another opportunity next week.

In-Ring Segment: Rosemary, ODB, Knockouts

Jeremy Borash interviews Knockout’s champion Rosemary in the ring. JB says Rosemary’s Knockout’s title reign has been one of the longest at over five months and asks her who is left. Rosemary goes through the list of those she’s defeated when ODB interrupts. ODB says she’s going to become five time Knockout’s champion but Rosemary tells her she isn’t worthy. Rosemary begins to leave when the Knockout’s locker room appears on the ramp and backs her into the ring. Madison Rayne and Brandi Rhodes say they deserve shots at the Knockout’s title but Diamante says she’s here to fight! A huge brawl ensues as we go to break!

In-Ring Segment: EC3 and James Storm

EC3 is in the ring and apologizes to Karen Jarrett for the things he said to her last week. EC3 says that IMPACT! Wrestling is changing and he needs to change along with it. EC3 declares that he will become a three time World champion and names other former champions. James Storm interrupts and questions why EC3 didn’t say his name. EC3 responds by saying he was only naming multiple-time champions. Storm says he’s been in IMPACT! Wrestling a lot longer than EC3 has – from day one, in fact. They both agree that the IMPACT! Wrestling fans should decide who’s going to get the next world title shot!

Moose (c) vs. “The American Nightmare” Cody w/ Brandi Rhodes – IMPACT! Grand Championship

Cody hits Moose with a big tornado DDT in the corner. Cody hits the ropes but gets caught with a pop-up powerbomb, followed by a Moonsault from Moose. Cody attempts to superkick Moose but he ducks, causing Cody to hit one of the judges! Bruce Prichard replaces him at ringside. Two judges score it 10-9 for Moose, one judge scores it 10-9 for Cody. Moose wins round one by split decision.

Cody flies over the top rope but Moose catches him and powerbombs him on the apron. Moose has a steel chair but Cody uses Brandi as a shield. Cody applies the Figure Four leg lock but the clock expires. Two judges score it 10-9 for Cody, one judge scores it 10-9 for Moose. Cody wins round two by split decision.

Brandi is fed up with Cody’s antics and leaves ringside to start round three. Cody is perched on the second rope but Moose hits him with a dropkick. Cody connects with the Disaster Kick but is unable to capitalize with a cover. They exchange shots in the middle of the ring as time expires. Two judges score it 10-9 for Moose, one judge score its it 10-9 for Cody. Moose wins round three by split decision and retains his IMPACT! Grand Championship.

KM w/ Sienna vs. Braxton Sutter w/ Allie

Sutter brings the fight to KM in the early going. Sutter and KM collide in the middle of the ring with a double clothesline. Sutter jumps off the second rope and hits KM with a neckbreaker to build momentum.

Sienna attacks Allie at ringside, causing a distraction for Sutter. KM takes advantage with a low blow, followed by a devastating powerbomb into the double knees to win.

After the match, Allie charges at Sienna but KM holds her back. Sutter makes the save as Laurel Van Ness appears on the stage, still in her wedding dress from weeks ago.

Video Promo: Fury Unleashed

We see another cryptic promo saying that fury will be unleashed on 4.13.17.

Laredo Kid & Garza Jr vs. Decay (“The Monster” Abyss & Crazzy Steve) w/ Rosemary vs. Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe & Luster The Legend) vs. LAX (Ortiz & Santana) w/ Konnan, Homicide & Diamante
Match for Vacant Tag Team Championship

The match breaks down as Laredo and Garza launch themselves off the top onto everyone on the outside. Santana and Ortiz connect with a double team backbreaker leg drop on Laredo. Santana and Ortiz hit the Street Sweeper on Abyss in the corner, followed by a double team cutter on Steve. Rosemary enters the ring but gets taken out by Diamante.

Santana and Ortiz connect with a double team gut-buster powerbomb on Laredo to become new tag team champions! LAX celebrates in the ring as IMPACT! Wrestling goes off the air.

Next week, former Wolves brothers Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards battle in a Last Man Standing match and a new number one contender to Rosemary’s Knockout’s championship will be crowned in a Knockout’s Gauntlet Battle Royal. Don’t miss it!
