Impact Wrestling will tape four Impact TV shows in India on two nights on May 30 and May 31.
Impact is also apparently in talks to launch a separate weekly television show in India, which would start shooting late this year, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It would feature talent from India as well as some Impact wrestlers being flown out to appear.
Impact announced a deal to work with wrestling students of the Great Khali a while back and could end up working with him for a potential show in India. Khali is apparently extremely popular in India and has put on wrestling shows there that have drawn up to 50,000 people. Wrestling is not incredibly popular in India, but could draw a significant amount as a niche sport in a country with such a big population.
