This Week’s WWE RAW & SmackDown Live Ratings Are In

As you might expect, with the election and World Series out of the way SmackDown saw a huge increase for the heavily-promoted 900th episode. Showbuzz Daily reports that Tuesday’s episode scored a 0.95 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.725 million viewers. Those numbers are up 70% and 42% from last week’s low of 0.56 and 1.921 million, which was hurt by the election; it was also up 42% and 25% respectively from a 0.67 demo rating and 2.187 million from two weeks ago for a more rational comparison.

The numbers were the best since the second regular live USA Network episode, which aired on July 26th and brought in a 0.97 and 2.763 million. Significantly, it nearly topped this week’s RAW which brought in a 0.98 and 2.878 million viewers. Of course, this week’s SmackDown was by no means a regular episode, with the return of the Undertaker and Edge heavily promoted and Survivor Series on the horizon. It’s still an impressive showing though.

SmackDown ranked #2 among cable originals for the night behind ESPN’s College Football Rankings show which quadrupled ots usual numbers following a number of upsets over the weekend with a 1.01 demo rating and 2.651 million viewers.
